Fruits of the Spirit, Walk in the Woods and Reading

November 6, 2023

I woke up at 6:30 am. I felt rested. I prayed my thanksgivings and said my gratitudes. I got up, made tea and got ready for work. I arrived at my first cleaning job right on time. I had a great talk with my client while I cleaned. When I finished, I had an hour of free time before my next job. I ran some errands and had fun talking with people I saw around town.

My 2nd cleaning job also went great. I listened to “The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari” on audio while I cleaned. I kept my focus on the fruits of the Spirit: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self Control. It seems so simple to practice the fruits of the Spirit. Such a simple meaningful life. I was grateful for the reminder to stay focused on what I do desire.

-I desire to be kind and I am grateful when I am shown kindness.

-I desire to be gentle and I am grateful when people are gentle with me.

-I desire self control and I am grateful for others who are an example of self control. -I desire patience and I am grateful when people are patient with me.

-I desire love and I am grateful to be surrounded by love.

-I desire goodness and I am grateful for an abundance of goodness in my life.

-I desire peace and I am grateful for the gift of peace.

-I desire joy and I am grateful for all the joy I feel.

-I desire faithfulness and I am grateful for the comfort of faith.

My third cleaning job also went great. I talked to my clients while I cleaned. Then I headed home. I stopped briefly on the way and said hi to a friend. When I arrived at home. I talked to Christopher for a while, then I went on a walk in the woods with Angel and the dogs. We brought more things out to add to our fairy villages. I didn’t get pictures but they are looking really cute.

Back at home, I read Angel a couple of chapters out of a book called “Getting to Know Your Pony”. Then I read her a chapter out of “Hank the Cowdog” book 3. I felt super cozy and relaxed from reading. I drifted off to sleep and Angel went outside to play. I woke up an hour later. Christopher had supper ready. I had a big salad and we all said our gratitudes around the table. Then I took a bath with Angel and we got ready for bed. I did the dishes and we gathered as a family in the banana hut. I read 2 chapters out of “Hank the Cowdog” book 3 and the last 2 chapters out of “Summer of Light” by W. Dale Cramer. Then we all said our good nights. I did 100 jumps on the rebounder, wrote my blog and read “Firefly Lane” until I fell asleep around 9 pm

Thank you for reading my blog and being a part of my life. I dearly appreciate you.

Love,

Victoria
