Homeschooling, Story-Time, Newspapers and Bible Study

Dear Diary,

I woke up at 6:30 am. I slept through the night! I got up, made my bed and let out the chickens, ducks and geese. In the house I greeted Christopher and Angel. I fed the dogs, made tea and smoothies🥲Angel got ready to go with me and we headed to town.

Angel did her schoolwork while I cleaned. My client, who is a very kind lady, helped Angel with her assignments, which Angel liked a lot. I thanked my client for helping Angel and she said she was happy to do it and it was fun. I love that Angel gets interaction from people of all ages and all different walks of life. She is getting a well rounded education that includes more than what her schoolbooks can teach her. I love homeschooling.

When I finished cleaning we picked up Ms. M and took her with us to the library for story-time. Ms. M enjoyed watching the kids. Angel had fun playing and listening to the stories. The stories were about outer space and the planets. The kids all received little aliens afterwards and put together paper space shuttles. Angel got extras to give to my grandson Finn when we get him tomorrow.

When story-time was over, we had 45 minutes before the newspapers were arriving for me to deliver. I went through the car wash and filled up with gasoline. We still had a half hour so we hung out at the Rockdale reporter. I got all my receipt slips ready to go, Angel played with Little Bit and the office cats and Ms. M read the paper.

When the papers arrived, we all grabbed some (700 in total) and headed out. I didn’t have any houses to clean afterwards and was glad I could take my time. About halfway through the route Ms. M’s husband contacted me so he could get her from me early to take her to lunch with a friend. The rest of the route Angel decided she wanted to help me run the papers in to the businesses. We had a great time doing that and at one of the gas stations we delivered papers to, we played a quarter game that was a lot of fun.

When we finished delivering the papers, we took Zona on a walk. She is one of the best dogs I’ve ever pet sat for. She is super mellow and happy all the time. After Zona had her walk, we played frisbee with her for a while. Little Bit and Zona have become good friends and like to chase the frisbee together.

On the way home, I stopped to feed Kitkat. She is an outside cat I am pet sitting for and it had been 2 days since I’d seen her. Today she was there and I was so happy to see her. She is wild and won’t let me pet her but I talked to her and put food in her bowl. I messaged Kitkat’s owner that she was there today and her owner was glad to hear that.

Christopher wasn’t home when we arrived. He was out in the woods spending the evening with his friends. Angel still had schoolwork to finish. We worked on it together in the banana hut, then I fell asleep. I slept for an hour until Angel woke me up wanting to know if it was time to go to Bible study. I looked at the time and we still had 2 hours before it was time to leave. I started a bath and made dinner. We ate and took a bath together. Then I wrote my blog until it was time to leave.

Bible study was great! Gay Marberger is such a wonderful teacher. I attached my notes at the bottom. Angel loves the kids program and she had fun.

When we got home, we jumped on the trampoline together and put the chickens, ducks and geese away for the night. I read 3 chapters from The National Park Mystery Series book 3. Angel slept next to me on the trundle bed and we fell asleep at around 10 pm.

Thank you for reading my blog and being a part of my life. I dearly appreciate you.

Love,

Victoria

P.S. The blog post was inspired by the Holy Spirit.
