Yesterday’s Day: Watching Grandbaby Finn

Yesterday’s Day

Yesterday I woke up at 4am. I went in the “banana hut”. I read and meditated for a couple of hours. When I went back in the house I made homemade granola and my v8 juice of carrots, cucumber, apple, tomato, zucchini and celery. I set the juice aside to drink throughout the morning. Then I sat at the table drinking herbal tea while talking to Christopher and Angel until Christopher left for work. Then I went back in the banana hut and took a morning nap while Angel played. I slept for about 45 minutes.

When I woke up I did laundry and played in the garden, weeding and planting kale seeds. Then I cut up some watermelon for Angel and Finn to share. Grandbaby Finn arrived to spend the day with us. I watched Angel and Finn play outside for a couple of hours while drinking my juice. My daughter Savana came over and talked with me a while (she is temporarily staying in my RV until she gets into a new apartment). I made the kids lunch and made myself a smoothie of mango blended with fresh squeezed OJ.

Christopher came home from work and needed time to himself. I took the kids on an hour long ride in the woods with the “mule” that Christopher fixed for his cousin and it needed a good test drive. Finn had a great time. He laughed and laughed. When we arrived back home Christopher was sitting outside looking refreshed. I put Finn down for a nap and sat outside talking with Christopher for a couple of hours. Then I started Angel’s bath.

Finn woke up and ate homemade granola with coconut yogurt and mandarin oranges. Christopher watched Finn while I took a bath with Angel. When I got out of the bath Finn’s dad was there to take him home.

After he left we ate supper outside at the picnic  table. Christopher had made a yummy, potato and vegetable baked dish. I read Angel stories while we ate. After supper we brushed our teeth, swept the floor, did dishes and tucked Angel into bed. Then Christopher and I made chamomile tea and went to the banana hut. We rubbed each other’s feet and talked and shared our love for each other. Then we went back in the house, ate homemade granola with coconut yogurt, read and went to sleep. It was a wonderful day!

Thank y’all for reading my blog and being a part of my life.
