Yesterday’s Day: Playing in the Sun

Yesterday I woke up at 1am. I went into the banana hut, read and went back to sleep at 3am. I woke again at 7:30am. I went into the house and made herbal tea. I started a bath in our outside bathtub then talked with Christopher and Angel and started laundry while it filled up. When it was full the sun had just risen and was shining through the trees and plants. I felt very blessed to be able bath in such incredible beauty. I meditated, practiced gratitude and mindful breathing during my bath.
After my bath, I made homemade bread and tortillas with Angel’s help. When we finished I made my homemade V8 juice. I took some juice out to Christopher who was working out back digging a new sewer line for our new indoor bathroom. He was very happy to get the juice since it was hot and muggy out already. Since it was hot and muggy I went back in the house and blended up half a giant watermelon (128oz.) for my lunch. I took a 64oz. of watermelon outside with me to drink while I did an hour long Self Love session with one of my coaching clients. The session went great and as always it was as good of an experience for me as for my client.  When the phone session was finished, Angel and I rode the four wheeler to the pond to swim. We had a lot of fun playing and relaxing in the sun. I floated on my back in the middle of the pond for a while and was so relaxed I almost fell asleep. It was blissful. When we finished swimming we rode the four wheeler across the highway to visit with our friends Marc and Renaté. We hung out there for about an hour and Angel drew a picture of me.
It was getting close to supper time so we rode back home. Christopher had supper almost ready and Angel’s bath started. We bathed and I read Angel stories. Then we ate an amazing supper of quinoa, Texas rice, mixed greens and steamed vegetables. It was really yummy. After supper we cleaned up, brushed our teeth and swept the floor. I tucked Angel into bed, then Christopher and I headed to the banana hut. Savana was coming up to the house so I talked with her for a bit before joining Christopher in the banana hut. We sat at talked for a while but we were both tired so we didn’t stay for long. We went back to the house and I went to bed early around 8pm.
It was a wonderful day. I am grateful.
