Dear Diary,
Woke up at 4:40 am. I edited and posted blog. I did a full body relaxation session and drifted to sleep. I woke again at 6:45 AM. I got up to let the birds out but they were already out. Christopher must have let them out already. I put fresh water in the duck pools and the geese started bathing in them. It was beautiful watching them and I took a video of it. Here it is:

I went in the house and greeted Christopher. I made tea and smoothies. One smoothie was blended watermelon and the other one was bananas, turmeric, spirulina and figs. Angel got up and came into the house just before I was leaving. I gave her a hug and kiss and gave Christopher a hug and kiss and drove to town.
My first cleaning opportunity went good. My client scheduled a time with me to come back in a couple weeks and do some organizing for her. I am looking forward to that. I love organizing. When I finish cleaning, I went and picked up Ms. M. We went through the car wash and as I was leaving the parking lot there was a truck parked there with a man selling local melons. I pulled over and I bought six cantaloupes. They smelled heavenly in the car. I had been waiting to get my friend Tracy a birthday gift until the right gift appeared. His birthday was July 1st. I told him I would get him a gift soon and now I had it. I knew that a local cantaloupe would be the perfect gift for him.
I drove to the Rockdale Reporter and got Ms. M settled in up front. Then I talked to Kyle Cooke while I waited for the papers to arrive. We were in the middle of a fun conversation when Suzy came and told me that Ms. M had started walking towards the back of the building. I ran to the back of the building just as she was going into the bathroom. I helped her find the light switch and waited outside the bathroom until she came out. The papers arrived right as she came out. I got her settled in the truck, loaded up the newspapers and hearted (headed) out to do my route.
The paper route went great. I was early and it always goes better when the papers arrive early because I miss the lunch rush at the restaurants. When I delivered the paper to Edward Jones, I talked to them about making another appointment to get an account set up with them. I’m really excited about investing some of my money. I also talked to them about Pet Sitting. They had asked me about it and were interested in having me pet sit for them when they went on vacation in a couple of months. I am grateful that my Pet Sitting business is picking up. I really enjoy it and it’s so much easier on my body than cleaning. When I finished the paper route, I took Ms. M to her house and briefly talked to her husband.
Next, I went and practiced a song with one of the music club members who will be accompanying me on the piano for a Matinee Musical Club event on Sunday. He’s a very talented musician and has perfect pitch. We went through the song a couple of times. I felt confident we were in sync and all would go well.
On the way home, I stopped and gave Tracey his birthday cantaloupe. He liked it and thanked me. I couldn’t stay long because I had to get home to take over Angels care since Christopher was going out in the woods with his friends.
When I arrived home, I greeted Christopher and Angel. Then I opened up one of the cantaloupes I had bought. It smelled heavenly. Angel and I each got a spoon and started eating it right away. It was super ripe and sweet, it melted in your mouth. Christopher brought in the rest of the cantaloupe while Angel and I feasted. I thanked him and he went off to the shack in the woods. When Angel and I finished feasting, I cut up the rest of the cantaloupe and put it in the fridge.
I laid down on the couch and took a nap while Angel played on her phone. When I woke up, we made waffles together for her dinner. Then we swam in her pool together until it was time for play practice. We got out and I let the water out of the pool because it was starting to get murky.
Play practice went good. We did our headshot photos and practiced blocking. More and more of the play is coming together and we have a good group of actors.
We arrived home from play practice at 9:15 pm. Christopher wasn’t home yet. We brushed our teeth, put the birds away, hung laundry on the line, flipped over the empty pool and got into bed. I called Angels adopted grandma Peggy to confirm plans about Angel staying the night at their place in Round Rock Saturday night. Then I put on a unicorn sleep meditation and we fell asleep at 11
PM.
Thank you for reading my blog and being a part of my life. I dearly appreciate you.
Love, Victoria
