I woke up at 6:07 a.m. Immediately I prayed my thanksgivings and gratitudes. Then I made my bed, did 100 jumps on the rebounder and went into the kitchen. Christopher was awake and had hot water ready for tea. We said our good mornings and I got ready for work. Angel got up and I let the yorkies out to use the bathroom and play. While Angel was eating breakfast, I took our dogs for a morning walk in the woods. I didn’t walk in the woods yesterday so today I made sure I got it in early. I knew I wouldn’t get home until late again. It was a lovely morning walk, blustery and windy and refreshing.
Angel came with me to work today and we listened to The Boxcar Children on the drive to town. I had left early so we could hang out and visit at Moon Brew. I had great conversations with friends while I waited for my tea and Angel played with another girl that was my friends daughter. When it was time for work we said our goodbyes and I drove across town. My first job was at a friends house. It was great to see her. We hadn’t seen each other in a while. We talked for a few minutes, then she left and I cleaned. Angel did schoolwork, phonics. It was a review workbook and she was enjoying it. Her reading is really improving. She is beginning to understand words that Christopher and I spell to each other when we don’t want her to know what we are saying. Well now she knows, so that doesn’t work anymore. 😂
My next job was delivering the Rockdale Reporter but it was running late. I checked on some dogs, chickens and cows that a friend had asked me to look in on that afternoon. The timing worked out perfectly and I arrived at the Reporter right after the papers were dropped off. Angel stayed at the office with the staff while I did my paper route. The route went smoothly and I had fun talking to people when I drop the papers off at businesses around town. I enjoy people.
My next cleaning job went great. Angel listened to The Boxcar Children while I worked. I had great conversations with my clients and did a good job cleaning. On the drive to my last job, I had a fun hands-free conversation with my sister on the phone. I enjoy our talks. While I worked, Angel continued to listen to her audiobook. I finished cleaning at 6:30 p.m. and was happy with my work. The drive home went by quickly. We listened to Angels audiobook and I was glad to be heading home.
Christopher was out with his friends when we arrived home. He had put the yorkies in their kennel when he left earlier in the evening. We let the yorkies out and they were happy to see us. We played with the dogs and got ready for bed. After the yorkies went to the bathroom we put them in their kennel for the night. I did 100 jumps on the rebounder and got into bed. Angel got on the trundle bed and played a number game. I wrote my blog while Angel cuddled up with Chance and listened to her audiobook. We went to sleep around 9:30 p.m.
