Good morning God,

  • Thank you for this day.
  • Thank you for a strong body
  • Thank you for watermelon
  • Thank you for cats and dogs.
  • Thank you for love

I love you!

Dear diary,

I awoke at 5 AM. I wrote my blog until 7 AM then I put it aside and woke up Angel. I got dressed and let the dogs out. Angel got up and got dressed. She played outside with Jack while I made the bed and did some chores. Then I gave Jack food and water and we drove to town.

Angel had oatmeal breakfast and I made myself tea and a smoothie. I packed up Angels lunch and we got ready to go to McCall to do a cleaning opportunity. Angel was taking her time getting ready and I started feeling angry about waiting for her. As soon as I felt my anger, I immediately became present with the feeling. Hello angerwhat message do you have for me, I asked. Instantly I received clarity about all the times Angel has to wait for me and my heart softened into compassion and understanding. I then remembered that kindness is more valuable than being on time. We got in the truck and I apologized to Angel for speaking to her in anger.

On the drive to McCall we listened to a Nancy Drew audiobook. We arrived at my cleaning opportunity a half hour late and all was good. I talked to my client for a few minutes, then I got started cleaning while Angel did her schoolwork. It was a big house and it took me 7 1/2 hours to get it cleaned. By the time I finished, I was bone tired and the house looked amazing.

Before going home, my mom called and told me that her dog Max wasn’t doing very well and she might not be able to come to Angels play. Max is old and had a stroke. I told her to keep me posted on how he is doing.

We listened to Nancy Drew on the drive home. When we arrived, I rested on the daybed and wrote blog notes and played wordle and connections. Angel went to the neighbors downstairs and visited her kitten. Little Bit and our kitten (whose name has changed again to Sweetie) played in the front room and I in-joyed (enjoyed) watching them.

Angel came back upstairs and we drove over to my older sisters to get some packages that had been delivered there. The packages were my fixed vitamix blender, a face painting kit and a rock tumbler. I told my sister about our mom’s dog Max and we called our mom to see how he was doing. She said that he seemed to be a little better.

We left my sisters and hearted (headed) out to our overnight pet sitting opportunity. On the way, I stopped to picked up my gratitude sign from in front of M&W. I took a picture of it and wiped it clean. I noticed that Aaron had written on it because he wrote something he says often during our conversationsI laughed and sent him the picture I took of the gratitude sign and wrote Ha!. He sent me a laughing emoji and I responded with great fun!.

At our pet sitting opportunity, Angel ran around playing with Jack. I tried starting the 4 wheeler that I was told I could use so that we could ride it around but the battery was dead. We put Jack up for the night and went to bed. I read a chapter of Watchers at the Pond, then I wrote my blog notes and put on a sleep meditation. We drifted to sleep at around 10 PM.

Morning prayer:

Good morning God,

  • Thank you for this day.
  • Thank you for apricots.
  • Thank you for cows.
  • Thank you for laughter.
  • Thank you for love.

I love you!

Dear Diary,

I awoke at 5:45 AM. I finished writing my blog post that I started yesterday and posted it. I let out the dogs and woke Angel up. We got ready to go and drove home. I set up my gratitude sign in front of M&W and made Angel breakfast. I made her lunch and packed it to go. Then I made  tea and a smoothie for myself.

We left and drove to Cambridge to do 3 cleaning opportunities. At my first house, Angel did her schoolwork while I cleaned. I enjoyed cleaning but my body was tired and I felt like I was dragging it around. So when my next cleaning opportunity canceled and I was really grateful. I finished my first house and drove down the road to my last cleaning opportunity. It was my first time cleaning this house and it took me 3 hours to clean, the exact amount of time I had estimated.

When we got back to Council. I stopped at the Thrift store. Then I went home and rested on the daybed while Angel watched movies in her room on her DVD player. Angel went to play practice and I walked over to the bank and cleaned it. When we both got home. I picked up my gratitude sign and we went out to our pet sitting opportunity. On the way, I briefly stopped by Aaron’s to say hi. We looked at the rock tumbler I had bought but I was so tired I could barely move.

At our pet sitting house, Angel played with Jack for a while. Then we went to bed. I was too tired to read. I wrote my blog notes and put on a sleep meditation. We went to sleep at around 10 PM.

Thank you for reading my blog and being a part of my life. I appreciate you.

Love, Victoria
