Dear Diary,

Good morning God,

  • Thank you for this day.
  • Thank you for heaters.
  • Thank you for sunshine.
  • Thank you for sisters.
  • Thank you for cleaning opportunities.
  • Thank you for friends.

I love you!

I awoke at 7 am. I played wordle and connections and wrote my blog. I got caught up to the current day and I was happy about that. When I was adding my posts to my website, I accidentally deleted Sunday and I couldn’t figure out a way to get it back. I didn’t have time to redo it at the moment and I planned to do it later. I put on positive morning affirmations to listen to, which I do every morning. I haven’t been mentioning that in my blog and I think it’s a good thing to add.

I woke Angel up at 9:30 AM. I was glad she had slept late and gotten good sleep. We got dressed and I warmed up the truck for us to go to my sisters to make breakfast. When we went to get in the truck, Mr. C was outside and he called me over to talk. He asked if I could help with splitting wood today and I said that I couldn’t. We talked about the frozen water spigot and he wants to redo the whole thing. I told him that starting Thursday I will be doing overnight pet sitting opportunities back to back until mid March so there wasn’t any hurry for us to have water. He was glad to hear that since he is getting shoulder surgery done in February.

When we got to my sisters, I made Angel breakfast. Then I re-wrote Sundays blog entry and posted my blog. My younger sister messaged me and said that she might be gone from March through July or August for her job and wanted to know if I could house sit for her during that time. I said I could, even though I am supposed to move into my apartment in May, this will give Mr. L more time to get it ready. I don’t know if I actually even needed to buy my camper. It looks like we won’t be living in it after all, other than a couple of days here and there in-between pet sitting. I can sell it later on if I want to. I also need to get rid of my motorhome and decided I was going to offer to give it to Brett if he wants to. The engine only has 65k miles on it and it has brand new tires, just the camper part of it is a mess.

I made myself 2 gallons of juice. The juice had in it: carrots, pineapple, apples, grapes and ginger. I had been out of juice for a few days and I drank 20 oz of it right away. It was really yummy and my body was happy to receive its nutrient filled energy.

I cleaned up the kitchen and we went to homeschool co-op. At co-op, I read a couple of stories to the kids. Then I drew an out-line of their head and shoulders on some freezer paper that another mom had brought. The kids drew in their face and colored it. When they finished drawing and coloring, we played a game of Sorry.

After co-op, I got a chai tea from the local coffee shop and drove to Cambridge to do a cleaning opportunity. Angel did her schoolwork while I cleaned. I cleaned for 3 hours and the house looked great when I finished. Since my younger sister lives in Cambridge I had messaged her earlier asking if I could stop by after cleaning to talk about house sitting for her. She said yes, so we went over there.

When we got there she was really busy and received an important phone call from her daughter. I waited for a while but it was getting late and I still needed to clean the bank so I told her we would talk later and drove back to Council to my older sisters house. I fed Angel dinner and she stayed there playing Minecraft while I walked over to the bank and cleaned it. While I was cleaning, I called my friend Brett and offered him the motorhome. He wanted to fix it up and sell it and split the money with me. I wanted it gone from my radar and told him if he wanted it then he could have it for free and do whatever he wanted to it and could keep whatever he sold it for. He accepted and I told him I would sign the title over to him. It felt good to have the weight of the motorhome off of me. Having a camper and a motorhome was too much stuff.

When I finished cleaning the bank, I put in my 2 week notice. It’s not going to be worth coming to Council 3 evenings a week for one hour of work when I’m pet sitting and house sitting outside of Council. Cleaning the bank was great when I didn’t have very much income coming in but now I have plenty of work and I want my evenings back. The guy messaged me back saying that I was doing a great job and wanted to know why I was quitting. I told him and he understood. He thanked me for putting in a 2 week notice and that I was welcome to use him as a reference. He asked if I knew of anyone that wanted to take over for me to let him know. I told him I would ask around.

When I got back to my older sisters, I called my younger sister and got the details about house sitting for her this spring and summer. I will still be able to do overnight pet sitting opportunities for other people while houses sitting for her and that’s good. I will just have to make sure her chickens are taken care of while I’m gone.

Angel and I drove to the camper and got ready for bed. She read a few of her children’s books aloud while I wrote my blog notes. We went to sleep at 10 pm listening to a sleep meditation.

Thank you for reading my blog and being a part of my life. I appreciate you.

Love, Victoria
