Pet Sitting, Church, More Packing, Swimming and Evening Walk

Sunday August 18, 2024

Dear Diary,

I woke up at 5 AM. I wrote my blog for a while. Then I sent Tracey my morning gratitudes: Good morning my Love,

I am grateful for deep sleep. I am grateful for your wonderful back massages. I am grateful for moving. I am grateful for help. I am grateful for walks in the woods. I am grateful for sunsets. I am grateful for breath. I am grateful for longhorns. I am grateful for communication. I am grateful for our heart connection. I am grateful for you my sweet man. I love you. šŸ’•ā¤ļøšŸ˜˜šŸ’›šŸ’ššŸŒ™ā˜€ļø. Tracey sent me his morning gratitudes: Good morning beautifulšŸ„°šŸŒ»šŸŒž.

I am grateful for youtubešŸ˜. I am grateful for Sundays. I am grateful for Universe. I am grateful for beautiful hearts. I am grateful for fruit. I am grateful for evening walks. I am grateful for full Moons. I am grateful for fireflies. I am grateful for you Victoria. Your love is special and appreciated and valued. Thank you. I love youā™¾ļøšŸ’›šŸ’ššŸ™šŸ„°.

I continued writing my blog and posted it. At sunrise, I went outside and let the chickens out and fed them. I fed the longhorns and put water in their bird bath. One of the cows knocked the bird bath over and broke it. (Later in the morning I messaged my friend Debbie letting her know about it.)Ā

I watered the outside plants and went inside to feed the dogs. I called Tracey and we said our good mornings. When I got off the phone, I took a morning nap and woke up at 9 AM. My phone had a text from Tracey suggesting that we take the motorhome to my mechanic to get the brakes fixed. He didnā€™t have all the tools and wanted to make sure it was done right. I agreed and sent out a prayer that the mechanic could get it done before Thursday. I know it will happen in perfect timing.Ā

I could hear Angel up and about. I found her eating oatmeal and told her it was time to get ready for church. I blended up a cantaloupe that Tracey had bought for me. While I was blending it, I felt hands on my back. I jumped and turned around. It was Tracey. It was great to see him. He apologized for scaring me and said he had sent me a text letting me know he was stopping by on his way to town. My phone was on silent and I hadnā€™t seen the text. I looked at my phone and I had a text from Debbie asking if her carrion plant had opened up its flower. Tracey and I went to look and it had. What a beautiful smelly flower it was. I called my mechanic to see if he would answer on Sunday. He did answer and said to bring it in and he would attempt to get to it as soon as he could.Ā

Tracey left to go to town. Angel and I finished getting ready for church and hearted (headed) out. We arrived at church a minute before it started. I quickly greeted people. It has been over a month since Iā€™d been there and I was glad we had made it since it is our last Sunday before we leave for 3 weeks. The sermon was about forgiveness and letting things go. Perfect!

After the service there was a church luncheon. Angel played with the kids while I talked with people. Everyone wanted to know when I was moving and said that they wished we werenā€™t going. I assured them all that we would be coming to Texas for a few months every year. A friend offered to let me stay at her house when we come back if we needed a place to stay. That is the 4th person thatā€™s given me that offer. I am so very grateful for everyoneā€™s generosity. Texans have been extraordinary good to me and I feel extremely blessed to be so loved by a community. I love the community back! Itā€™s such a wonderful welcoming small town community here. After experiencing the small town life, I have no desire to live in a city ever again.

After the luncheon, we went to Christopherā€™s and packed up more stuff. My friend Rachele came by and took at my outdoor potted plants. She also helped me get things down for the banana hut attic, which I was very grateful for. Angel and I completely cleaned out her room and it is officially all packed up. I got some more of the kitchen packed up. There is only a little bit left. Tomorrow, I will finish everything in the house and move on to the banana hut.

Christopher helped me load all the boxes into the truck and I drove to Milano to meet Tracey. He was driving the motorhome to the mechanics so we could leave it there. When he arrived, we moved all of the boxes from the truck into the motorhome and left the key with my mechanic. The mechanic said he would look at it tomorrow and he should be able to have it done right away. Yay!

We went to Traceyā€™s and went swimming in the pond. It felt so good to be in the pond. It did my body and mind a lot of good. I floated on my back and did a full body relaxation session. Then I stretched and floated around with Tracey on a floatie. It was blissed out. Angel played and climbed all over us. We stayed in the pond an hour and I felt amazing when we got out.Ā

We walked up to Traceyā€™s and I went over to Rita and Valā€™s to feed their inside dog and cats. (They had gone out of town for an overnight trip and asked me to take care of their animals.)Then Angel and I left to go to my overnight pet sitting opportunity. Tracey would join us there later. When we arrived, I gave the dogs a treat, made tea and called my sister Trish. We talked for a while, then I fed the dogs and longhorns. Back inside, I completed a Suduko puzzle and wrote my blog until Tracey arrived.

We all cuddled on the couch and watched an episode ofĀ Little House of the Prairie. Tracey and I both cried during the happy part. When the show was over, we sat out back and watched the sunset. Tracey left to go put away the animals at Rita and Valā€™s. Angel and I went on a short walk in the woods looking for a skull. Here is a video of our walk:Ā https://youtu.be/Ru-TdR_cNKg?si=MPF2gxrxIDuNtGzTĀ Ā (Please subscribe to my channel. My goal is to get 1,000 subscribers.)

I closed up the chickens and Angel took a bath while I wrote my blog. When she got out, we snuggled in bed and I read her some bedtime stories. Tracey came back and joined us for story time.

Angel went to sleep on the couch and Tracey and I talked in the bedroom. Angel fought going to sleep and kept wanting things. Tracey did an energy session on me and we all fell asleep at around 10:30 AM.

Thank you for reading my blog and being a part of my life. I appreciate you.

Love, Victoria
