Dear Diary,
Tracey and I both woke up at 3:30 AM. We snuggled for a while, then Tracey went home and I finished writing my blog. Tracey sent me his morning gratitudes: Good morning beautifulđĽ°đđť.
I am grateful for morning snuggling. I am grateful for story time. I am grateful for songs you sing. I am grateful for little house on the prairie. I am grateful for health to fully enjoy everything I am grateful for. I am grateful for Sun. I am grateful for Moon. I am grateful for witching hours. I am grateful for early morning stillness. I am grateful for shade trees. I am grateful for the pond. I am grateful for you Victoria. I am grateful for your love. I love youâžď¸đđđ.
After I finished posting my blog I sent my morning gratitudes to Tracey: Good morning my full Moon đ,
I am grateful for working brakes. I am grateful for story books. I am grateful for having an energetic child. I am grateful for play. I am grateful for stuff. I am grateful for melons. I am grateful for bananas. I am grateful we share our morning gratitudes. I am grateful for your touch. I am grateful for church. I am grateful for our powerful love connection. I am grateful for we. I am grateful for sisters. I am grateful for you Tracey and all you are. I love you. â¤ď¸đđ
I looked up some things on my phone and started todayâs blog post. Then I went back to sleep for a while listening to A Course in Miracles. I slept for about 45 minutes then got up and got ready to go. I fed the dogs, fed the longhorns, let the chickens out and fed them. Angel woke up and I made her waffles. For myself a made lime tea and a smoothie. My smoothie had 8 bananas, a handful of strawberries and fresh pineapple juice.
My friend Kim messaged me, she had an emergency and needed to go to the hospital. She asked if I could watch her dog Sophia. I said I would be right there to get her. Angel and I hearted (headed) to town and picked up Sophia. Then I did a quick touch up cleaning at my friend Monaâs house. She is out of town but she hired me to stop by and clean up after her cats once a week. Angel and the dogs stayed in the truck with the a/c on while I ran inside. Then I did another touch up cleaning at the Lutheran church. I had just cleaned the church Friday so it wasnât very dirty but today was my only day to clean this week before I leave. The pastor and secretary were there and I had a quick chat with them before I left.Â
Next, I stopped at Moon Brew on my way to pick up Tracey. He was going with us to the DMV in Cameron to get the motorhome and trailer registered. He hadnât registered a vehicle in Milam county before and he wanted to see how to do it for when he registers his motorhome, plus it gave us a chance to spend some time together. At Moon Brew, I said hello to everyone and got a matcha tea and a salad. Angel got a hot chocolate made with cacao and honey.
When we arrived at Traceyâs, I checked on Rita and Valâs inside dog and cats that they hired me to do drop in visits and feedings for yesterday and today. The animals were all doing good. Tracey, Angel and I all hearted (headed) to Cameron. My mechanics shop was on the way so we stopped in to see what was happening with the motorhome. The mechanic wasnât there and his sister said he had gone to get parts. I grabbed some paper work from out of the motorhome and we continued on to Cameron. Everything went smoothly at the DMV. There wasnât a wait and both vehicles got registered without any problems. I love small towns. When I lived in Boise it took hours to get anything done at the DMV. In Cameron, we were in and out of there in 15 minutes.
We drove back to Traceyâs and again stopped at my mechanics to drop off the new license plates. One of the mechanics was there and he said it was a couple of bad hoses that had caused the brake problem. They would have it fixed later today or tomorrow. Yay!
When we arrived at Traceyâs, I checked on Rita and Valâs indoor animals and swapped the goats, putting the girls in and letting the boys out. Then Angel and I went swimming at the pond while Tracey filled up the duck pools. It was a fun walk down to the pond. Sophia was having great fun. I took a video and here it is: https://youtu.be/nyzBLqB6tyY?si=biFQZ7STauZCbbmA Please subscribe to my YouTube channel.
Angel and I had a short swim. I floated on my back, did a full body relaxation session and stretched. Angel swam around on her floatie and the dogs waded in the water along the shore. We only stayed a short amount of time since I wanted to go to Christopherâs and finish packing. As we were walking up to the house, Tracey was starting to walk to the pond. I asked if he was going for a swim. He said he was going to join us but we were too quick. I said we had a short swim because I wanted to get to Christopherâs pack more stuff. We hugged and I told him I would call him later.
At Christopherâs, I greeted him and got started packing while Angel played. I told Christopher I wanted to take my bicycles on the trailer and put my kayaks on the roof rack. I continued packing inside the house until I got everything done. Then I walked out to pack the rest of the banana hut packed. I saw Christopher had put our bicycles and kayaks on the trailer. I wasnât expecting him to do that. I told him thank you and mentioned again that I wanted the kayaks on the roof rack on top of the truck. I told him that the was at Traceyâs and I would put it on tomorrow. Christopher said that only one kayak would fit on the roof rack. I told him that I also wanted the wooden bench in front of the banana hut in the trailer. He grumbled and told me I should have told him that in the first place. I said that I didnât realize that he was going to put everything on the trailer today or I would have. He started to change things around and I helped him a little. Then I went in the banana hut and got started sorting through and packing everything in there. Why do I have so much stuff?? It took a while but I got it all done.
I loaded boxes into the truck and told Angel it was time to go. We drove to my mechanics and I put all the boxes in the motorhome. I was feeling pretty worn out when I finished. I have one more load tomorrow and then everything will be packed. My mechanic was waiting on parts to finish the motorhome but said it will be finished by tomorrow.
Next, we went to Traceyâs and I greeted him with a hug. I fed Val and Ritaâs indoor dog and cats and drove to my overnight pet sitting opportunity. Angel played on her phone and I took a long shower. When I got out, I fed the dogs and longhorns. Then I cuddled with the dogs and wrote some of my blog.
Angels sister arrived and picked her up for an overnight stay. I sat with the dogs and wrote my blog some more. Tracey arrived and we hugged in greeting. He brought fruit and salad. Yay! I was hungry. We sat on the couch and talked while we ate our salads. Then we went to a master naturalist event at the Bird and Bee farm. I thought it started at 7:30 PM but when we arrived, it had already been going for a while so I guess I got the time wrong. My soon to be ex mother-in-law, who is also a master naturalist, was there. That was a little bit awkward but I am ok will feeling awkward sometimes. We didnât actually talk but we will. I donât see why we canât still remain friends despite her son and I getting a divorce.
I introduced Tracey to people and we saw the new bird sanctuary that was created recently and has been named Wild Wings Bird Sanctuary. Then we walked around the wild scape and stood around talking with a group of people for a while. When the moon came up, we hearted (headed) back to my pet sitting opportunity. We were almost there when I realized I had left the grapes I had brought to the event at the Bird and Bee Farm. I would have just left them but I brought them in a nice bowl that belongs to my friends I am pet sitting for.
When we pulled up to the pet sitting house, Tracey left to go home to get his dog Cassie. I closed up the chickens and quickly checked on the dogs. Then I drove back to the Bird and Bee Farm to get the grapes. Both Tracey and I arrived back at the pet sitting opportunity at the same time. We sat outside and watched the big super blue moon. It was getting late, so we went to bed. We gave each other back massages and cuddled. At around 11:45 PM we fell asleep.

Dear Diary,
Tracey and I both woke up at 5:55 AM. Tracey got up and went home while I wrote my blog. I watched the sunrise and Tracey sent me his morning gratitudes with a picture of the sunrise: Good morning beautifulđđđť.
I am grateful for enjoying the full Moon with you. I am grateful for possums. I am grateful for the Sun. I am grateful gratitude. I am grateful for master naturalists. I am grateful for allowing. I am grateful for your touch. I am grateful for your voice. I am grateful for salads. I am grateful for anticipation of our adventure coming Thursday. I am grateful for dragonflies. I am grateful for cats. I am grateful for bees. I am grateful for cicadas. I am grateful for you Victoria. Thank you for expressing your love to me in all the ways you do. I love and appreciate youđĽ°âžď¸đđ. I wrote my morning gratitudes and sent them to him: Good morning Sparkly eyes, I am grateful for tongues. I am grateful for Longhorns. I am grateful for being mostly packed. I am grateful for salads. I am grateful for Goats. I am grateful for people. I am grateful for social outings with you. I am grateful for courage. I am grateful for blue super moons. I am grateful for cuddles. I am grateful for the love we share. I am grateful for you Tracey. I am grateful for holding hands. I am grateful for your amazing back rubs. I love you and thank you for all you do for me. đâď¸đđđđđŚ¨đŚ. It was time to let the chickens out. I did that and fed them. I fed the longhorns and dogs too. Then I made some lime tea and a smoothie. My smoothie had 8 bananas, dragon fruit, fresh pineapple juice and coconut water.
I hearted (headed) to town to do a couple of cleaning opportunities. On the way I stopped behind Moon Brew to get some boxes. Even though it would get me behind schedule, I went inside and said hello to everyone and ordered a matcha tea. Rita was working today and asked if we could overnight farm sit for them October 6-21. That was perfect because I have an overnight pet sitting opportunity that is ending October 6th. So now our official leave date to move to Idaho is October 22nd. Thursday we are leaving to go to Idaho for vacation and will be back in Texas September 14th. Then we are officially moving October 22nd.
I arrived at my cleaning opportunity and talked with my clients for a while. It was my last day to clean for them. They didnât want to see me go but wished me well on my new journey. When I finished cleaning, I drove to my next house to clean. Even though I had sent them reminder messages twice, they had forgotten I was coming and werenât ready for me. They asked if I could come tomorrow and I said I couldnât. I was getting ready to leave on Thursday morning. I told them I would contact them when I got back from vacation and do a cleaning for them before I officially move.
I was grateful for the cancellation because it gave me time to get other things done. I went through the car wash and vacuumed out my truck. I got gas and met Tracey at Moon Brew. He had texted me letting me know that he was there. I greeted him and we hugged. He was sitting at a table with Rita and their son and another man I hadnât met yet. I sat with them and sorted through some papers while they all talked. Then I ate a salad and joined in the conversation. I introduced myself to the man I didnât know and found out he was my friend Kyle Cookeâs nephew. I love small towns because everyone is connected in some way.
When it was time to leave, Tracey and I hugged goodbye and I went to get Angel from a play date. Her sister had dropped her off there this morning. On the way I stopped by my friend Kimâs and gave her, her dog Sophiaâs leash and harness back. They had gotten left in the car from when I watched Sophia yesterday. We talked for a few minutes, then I got Angel. I chatted with a couple of the momâs that were at the play date and Angel said she had fun. We left and I took her to another play date with some other friends. Then I drove to my pet sitting opportunity to check on the animals and get Bits.
Next, I went to Traceyâs. We hugged in greeting and put my luggage rack on top of my truck. Then I drove to Christopherâs to finish packing. He helped me finish clearing out the attic in the banana hut. I sorted through the last of my stuff. Now everything has officially been gone through. We put everything I am donating into my truck and I took it to the fire station in Milano to donate for their October sale. A little lady came out and chatted with me while I unloaded everything. She was friendly and we had a great talk. Did I mention how much I love small towns? People that live in small towns are so different than city people.
When I got back to Christopherâs. I was feeling worn out. I decided I would get the last of my stuff tomorrow. Christopher and I hooked my trailer up to the truck and I drove to Traceyâs. We unhooked the trailer and rode together to pick up Angel from her play date. She was upset when I got there, she said that no one would play with her. We went to my pet sitting opportunity. Angel hooked up to the wi-fi and watched YouTube kids on her phone. Tracey watered outside and hung out with the Longhorns. I gave the dogs treats and made Angel a waffle. Then I laid down to relax a few minutes. My body was sore and tired from sorting and carrying boxes. Tracey came in and laid next to me. We talked and laughed. My friend Margie had sent me a meme. We read it and laughed and laughed:
We got up and fed the longhorns and dogs. Then we made a bunch of juice to take on our trip. We made one gallon of almond milk and 2 gallons of pineapple/apple juice. Tracey had brought his singing bowls and set them up in the woods. I came out and laid on a yoga mat while Tracey did a singing bowl session. It was a powerful session and I started to feel a little bit dizzy and nauseous during it. I allowed whatever was being stirred up flow freely. When the session was over, Tracey put his hands on my chakras. One of the longhorns started coming over to where we were and I quickly got up so I wouldnât get stepped on. Tracey pick up his singing bowls and I walked around the trails looking for the skull my friend Debbie had told me about. I saw a big skull from maybe a cow. It could be the skull she was talking about. Angel came out and wanted to know what we were doing next. As we walked back to the house, I told her we were going to take Tracey home so he could get his car.
We got ready to go and as soon as we were getting in the truck, my mechanic called and said the motorhome was fixed and ready to be picked up. We drove straight there. On the drive Angel was angry and emotional. I wasnât sure what was going on with her. When we arrived, I went in the office to pay and chatted with my mechanics for a few minutes. He only charged me $288 including parts which was a great deal.
When I came back out, Tracey had the motorhome started up with Angel in it. I told him I was going to go back to the pet sitting house if he wanted to take the motorhome to his place and get his car. He said that was fine and told me that Angel was still having a meltdown. I went over to the motorhome and talked with her a few minutes. She seemed to be doing better and Tracey said she could go with him.
When I arrived back at the pet sitting house. I greeted the dogs and took a long hot shower. Then I closed up the chickens and fed the cats. Tracey and Angel arrived just as I was finishing up. We got settled on the couch, sort of, since Angel was squirmy. We watched part of the movie âStand By Meâ. I had forgotten how bad the language was in that movie. Angel isnât around that kind of language but I figured it was all ok. About halfway through the movie, Tracey said he was going to bed. Good idea! I turned off the movie and we all went to bed. I turned on a unicorn meditation for Angel and took notes for my blog while Tracey gently touched my chakras. We hugged and fell asleep at around 10 PM.
Thank you for reading my blog and being a part of my life. I appreciate you.
Love, Victoria
