Dear Diary,

I woke up at 5 AM. Tracey got up and went home to spend the morning there. I texted him my morning gratitudes. They were: Good morning beautiful man,

I am grateful for new perspectives. I am grateful for my sisters. I am grateful for tea. I am grateful for failure. I am grateful for success. I am grateful for spiders. I am grateful for cuddles. I am grateful for generosity. I am grateful for appreciation. I am grateful for support. I am grateful for your amazing back rubs. I am grateful for our shared love. I am grateful for your gentleness. I am grateful for our ability to communicate openly.

Thank you for everything you do for me and others. I am so very grateful to have you in my life. I love you. 💚💛🦋🦨🙌🌙☀️. I wrote my blog and watched the sunrise. Then I went outside, watered the plants, let the chickens out and fed the longhorn cows. I came inside and fed the dogs. Tracey sent me his morning gratitudes and they were: Good morning my beautiful love🥰.

I am grateful for shooting stars. I am grateful for little house on the prairie. I am grateful for walks in new places. I am grateful for animals. I am grateful for pet sitting😁. I am grateful for health. I am grateful for exciting plans with you and Angel. I am grateful for being helpful. I am grateful for my heart. I am grateful for playing scrabble. I am grateful for this day. I am grateful for you Victoria, infinitely grateful for your beautiful love. Thank you♾️💚🙏. He texted me afterward and said that at first he had accidentally sent his gratitudes to him mom instead of me. I laughed. That’s great fun.

Angel woke up and I made her healthy waffles. For myself, I made tea and a smoothie. The smoothie had 8 bananas, a mango and coconut water. I had brought my vitamix to my pet sitting opportunity so I could make my smoothies. Angel and I got ready to go and left to go clean the Lutheran and Episcopal church.

I cleaned the Lutheran church first. Cleaning went well and I enjoyed it. Before going to clean the Episcopal church, I ran some errands. I called Tracey, went to the grocery store, got gas and went through the car wash. Then I canceled my car wash membership since I am moving, it will end on August 22. I stopped at NAPA auto parts and got oil and an oil filter for the motorhome. I picked up my last paycheck from MDD and called my car insurance company. I took the Scion off my insurance policy and added the motorhome on. Then I cleaned the Episcopal church. Angel played in the nursery while I cleaned. I love cleaning churches. They have a peaceful serene energy. I’m still going to keep cleaning the churches until I officially move in mid to late October.

When I finished cleaning, I stopped at Moon Brew to get a matcha tea. A bunch of my friends were there and we shared hugs all around. Then I dropped off the churches recycling and called my friend Ed back. He had called earlier while I was cleaning. Ed and I dated for a year when I was 16 years old and he was 19 years old. Then I moved to South Dakota and he started dating his future wife and they’ve been married ever since. I have remained friends with them through the years and would sometimes come see them during my vacations to Idaho. Ed is excited that I am moving back and we talked for over an hour. When we arrived home, Angel played and I started sorting things in the banana hut, talking to Ed all the while. When I got off the phone, I sorted some more things inside the house and loaded all the boxes into the back of the truck.

We drove to Tracey’s and he had performed some miracles in the motorhome. He fixed the plumbing, cleaned up and had removed the chair I wanted removed. Yay! I felt so grateful to him for doing all of that for me. I cleaned some more and took a short rest in Tracey’s RV to cool down. Then Tracey and I took my big wooden chest out of his RV and put it in my motorhome. This was no easy task. We couldn’t get it through the doorway even though it was the same size doorway as Tracey’s RV. My doorway was thicker because of how it was designed and there is a little lip on the chest that was preventing it from going through at an angle. We made several attempts with Tracey lifting that wooden chest up single handed many times. I was amazed at how strong he was. Finally, we took the screen door off and that worked. We were barely able to get it inside. Now it has to stay there forever 😁. I cleaned and organized some more and Tracey helped me put all the boxes I had packed inside the motorhome. Then Angel and I went to my pet sitting opportunity. Tracey said he would join us there later.

When we arrived, I fed the dogs and took a shower. I had gotten really hot and sweaty cleaning out the motorhome. I was filthy and needed a shower. The shower felt so good. Angel played on her phone while I laid down and wrote some of my blog. Tracey arrived and we fed the longhorns and watered. I cut up some mangos for Angel to eat and told her that her hour of phone time was over. Then I gave Tracey a back massage. I figured he needed one from all of that heavy lifting he had done earlier. When I finished, he gave me one and it felt really good. I love back massages.

Angel wanted to play a game, so I got the games out of the truck and brought them in. Tracey said he was leaving and started to pack his stuff. I was confused because I thought he was staying overnight. He said he needed to go home and process some stuff. I asked if he was coming back and he said he wasn’t. He told me he couldn’t be with me. I asked if he was breaking up with me and he said he was because I wasn’t in touch with my emotions. I knew that wasn’t true and I wasn’t sure what had brought this about but I knew everything was happening perfectly and felt at peace with things.

Angel was ready to play the game. So I started playing it with her while Tracey got the rest of his stuff. Then Tracey asked if we could talk for a minute. I sat with him in the bedroom. He apologized and said he didn’t want to break up but he’d had a lot of emotions come up from the massage and he needed space to process them. I held him while he cried, then he went home.

I played Life Junior with Angel and she won. Then we went outside to fed the cats and close up the chickens. Angel wanted to go for a walk in the woods and I was happy to oblige. We walked on some trails and I took a video. Here it is:

Angel wasn’t wearing shoes and kept getting thorns in her feet so we cut the walk short and went back to the house. Angel took a bath while I made tea. When she got out, I read her 3 stories from her bedtime story book and we went to bed. We fell asleep at 10:15 PM. At 11 PM, I woke up to the dogs barking. I went to see what was going on and Angel was running around the house. I put her back in bed and fell asleep again right away.

Thank you for reading my blog and being a part of my life. I appreciate you.

Love, Victoria
