Horrible Headache, Down for the Count

Dear Diary

I woke up from 11:30 pm until 3:30 am. I wrote my blog and kept hearing an owl in the woods. I got up several times to check on the ducks because even though they were closed away in their pen, it didn’t have a roof and I didn’t want the owl getting one of them. At 6 am I woke again and got up. I had wanted to get to earlier and leave to clean businesses at around 6 am. Because I had been up in the night I had slept late. Even then, I only got 5 hours of sleep in all. I wanted to skip getting up and sleep longer but I forced myself to get up and get moving. I had 2 businesses to clean, a house to clean and an organizing job to do. I had a full day ahead of me.

I woke Angel up and we made our beds. I let out the birds and we went into the house. Inside, I greeted Christopher, fed the dogs, made tea and smoothies. Angel got ready to go with me and we left at 6:50 am.

I cleaned a small office building and Angel did her schoolwork even though it was a Saturday. She had missed doing school most of last week and had to make up for it today. She did a great job staying focused and got at her assignments done right as I finished up.

Christopher was helping me clean the next office building since it is a big one. He was already there when I arrived and I got started right away to stay ahead of him. Angel was enthusiastic about helping too. She took out trash bags and filled up the extra toilet paper cabinets in the bathrooms. I got everything done except the floors and I left those for Christopher since it was time to go clean my residential house. Angel came with me and we arrived right on time.

I chatted with my clients for a few minutes and got started cleaning. Angel sat at the counter and listened to a Bobbsey Twins audiobook. As I was cleaning I felt a headache start to come on. Within a half hour the headache was so intense I didn’t know if I could finish cleaning. Somehow I managed to get it done but there was no way I was going to be able to go organize for my next client. I messaged her and said I couldn’t make it because I had a bad headache. I don’t like canceling on people and I rarely do it but I knew I wouldn’t be able to do it with my head hurting this bad.

I needed to stop at the store and get groceries. I didn’t want to go. I wanted to go straight home but I needed ingredients to make more dog food and Christopher was out of coconut water. I made it into the store and got the ingredients for the dog food. When I got back to the truck I realized I forgot Christopher’s coconut water. I didn’t want to go back in the store to get it but I somehow managed to do it.

I made it home and I got in the bath. I had messaged Christopher when I was on my way telling him I had a bad headache and asked him to start me a bath. I got out of the bath and my headache was even worse. That’s all I remember.

I woke up on my bed, in my towel, freezing cold. I crawled under the blankets. Later on, I woke up again and Angel was standing in front of me in her pajamas. She asked if I was ok. I told her I was ok except I had a bad headache. I asked her where Christopher was and she said he had gone out in the woods with his friends. I tried to get up but my head hurt too bad. I woke up again when it started getting dark. Angel was there and I asked her if she had eaten. She said Christopher fed her earlier before he left. I woke up again when it was dark. Angel was on the trundle bed next to me and there was a thunderstorm going on. I asked if she put the chickens, ducks and geese away and she said they wouldn’t go in. I crawled out of bed and put them away. My head was hurting so bad I could barely stand up. I got back in bed and called my sister Trish. Angel and I talked to her for a few minutes but I couldn’t talk long, my head was pounding. I fell asleep and didn’t wake up again until morning.

Thank you for reading my blog and being a part of my life. I dearly appreciate you.

Love,

Victoria
