Morning prayer:
Good morning God,

- Thank you for bananas.
- Thank you for presence.
- Thank you for love.
I love you!
Dear Diary,
I wrote my blog in the night from 3:30 AM to 5:30 AM. At 8 AM, I got up and made Angel breakfast. I made myself tea and took a shower. Then we went to my first cleaning opportunity. Angel did her schoolwork and the dogs played with my clients dog Mogi. My client asked me if I went to the Seven Devils Mining District presentation and I said I did and it was really good. We discussed why all the mines failed, the ore is in pockets, not veins, because of the geographical location and the difficulty of getting the ore out of that steep rocky terrain. There’s rumors that one of the mines is opening up again.
When I got home, I was pleasantly surprised to get a visit from my neighbor. We sat in the kitchen and talked for a while. Then I rode the 4-wheeler with the dogs to a clients house to empty his cat litter box and check on him. I brought in a couple of bags of pellets for him and filled his pellet stove. He told me a few stories and I enjoyed listening to them.
Next I went to the Thrift Store and found a bunch of pants in my size, as well as a bunch of winter clothes for Angel. I dropped them off at my new house so I can wash them when we move in. I should be getting the key tomorrow but I noticed that the money I had wired to the title company yesterday hadn’t been withdrawn from my account yet. I called the title company and she checked to see if they had received the wire, they hadn’t. I called my bank to see if the wire was sent. It hadn’t been and they said they would do it right away.
I got started on cleaning a small building that used to be a store. I will be working on it little-by-little and today I worked for 2 hours. I cleaned the front windows and the window sills which were really dirty and grimy. I got most of the cobwebs on the ceiling down and dusted.

Michael Ridge called me and asked if he could take me up on my offer to take a shower at my place. I told him that I would be home in a half hour and he was welcome to come over. If you don’t know who Michael Ridge is, look him up on Facebook. He lives a fascinating life, traveling across the wilderness with his horses and dog. He set up his winter camp near Council this year and the last time I saw him in town I offered him a shower anytime he wanted one.
When I got home, I checked my bank account and the money I wired had been withdrawn. Yay! I had an email from the title company saying that they had received the money. Yay! Michael Ridge arrived with his dog Morning. While Michael showered, the dogs all played together and I rested on the daybed. When he finished showering, we sat and talked. When questioned, he told me how he got started with his lifestyle and we talked about how Council valley is the garden of Eden and it’s in Adams country,(Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden). We talked about Hells Canyon and Michael said “it was heaven until it was damned to hell”, referring to when the dams were put in. I noticed that Michael played on words a lot and I appreciated his wit.

Michael left and I got Angel from a friends house. Then I walked over to the bank and cleaned it. While I was cleaning my mom called and we had a fun lighthearted conversation.
When I got home, Angel ate dinner and I read her a chapter from Runaway Ralph. Then we went to bed and went to sleep at around 9:30 PM.

Dear Diary,
After waking up in the night, praying, mediating and writing my blog, I slept for a couple more hours until 7:30 AM. I got up and centered myself before doing a coaching client phone session. I’m delighted to be getting more coaching clients. Everything in my life is falling into place perfectly.
The coaching session went great and when I got off the phone, I made Angel breakfast. She ate and went to jujitsu while I went to a cleaning opportunity. I enjoyed cleaning and the house looked fantastic when I finished.
Before going to my next opportunity, I quickly ran into the thrift store to see if they had any good vacuum cleaners. They didn’t but I saw a friend there and she shared that she was going through a really hard time. I hugged her and we talked for a few minutes. I encouraged her and reminded her that she can do all things through God.
I headed out to Mr. and Mrs. H’s. When I arrived, Angel did her reading and played Minecraft with a friend. I turned off the water to the outside faucets and drained them. I rolled up the outside water hoses and helped Mr. H try to get the riding lawnmower started so we could put it in the shed. It wouldn’t start and he had me get the battery charger to put on the battery. Then I helped Mrs. H put away her yard art. Suddenly, I started feeling weak and nauseous. I worked another hour before calling it quits and heading home.
While I was still at Mr. and Mrs. H’s, I called my realtor because I was supposed to get the keys to my new place today and I hadn’t heard anything. He said that he had just sent me a text and gave me the code for the realtor lock box on the door. Yay!! The house is officially mine!!
When I got home, I laid down to see if that would help me feel better. After a few minutes of resting, I had to urgently go to the bathroom. I ran to the toilet and after an intense bowel movement, I felt much better. I went over to my new house and got the keys out of the lock box. Then I started cleaning. I thoroughly cleaned the disgusting refrigerator from top to bottom. It had rotten food in it and smelled horrible. I almost decided to take the whole fridge to the land fill and get another one but I tackled the job instead. The fridge was sparkling clean when I finished and I put baking soda in it to get rid of the smell. Next I thoroughly cleaned the stove and that was another big project. I was grateful when I finished. Those were two big cleaning projects that I had out of the way. Now to get the rest of the kitchen and the entire house clean. I’m glad I have until December 1 to move in.
When I got back to the apartment, I took a long hot shower. It felt so good to get clean. Then I talked to my friend Rachele on the phone. She is in Texas but is buying a house in Tennessee. I’m excited for her! I got off the phone and read Angel a chapter from Runaway Ralph. We went to bed at around 10 PM.

Morning prayer:
Good morning God,
- Thank you for this day.
- Thank you for a home.
- Thank you for nature.
- Thank you for friends.
- Thank you for love.
I love you!
Dear Diary,
I spent all day cleaning the new house. My friend Mr. W came by and looked at my plumbing in the bathroom. He also helped me carry an old couch outside. I’m making a pile of things to take to the landfill.
I climbed up on the roof and looked in the chimney. It was surprisingly really clean. I did a bunch of laundry in the washing machine left in the house. The machine works but the water intake valve needs replaced, so I have to manually turn the water on and off for the wash and rinse cycles. I was fine with that because at least I have a washing machine.
I cleaned the sun room on the porch and it looks really good. I vacuumed the house and cleaned behind and underneath the stove and refrigerator and put them back. The fridge still smells bad but the smell is better than it was. I got Angel’s room completely ready and posted some items for sale.
My friend JJ came over and I showed her the place. Then later my sisters came over to see it. In the evening, I took Angel and her friend around on the 4-wheeler to go trick-or-treating. There were a lot of kids out and it was fun seeing all the costumes. Halloween is so much fun.

When we got home from trick-or-treating, Angel and I got ready for bed. We were too tired for stories and went to sleep right away.
Thank you for reading my blog and being a part of my life. I appreciate you!
Love, Victoria
