- Thank you for love.

Dear Diary,
I was awake in the early morning and wrote my blog. My schedule was free for the day, so I took a morning nap from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM. I woke up feeling refreshed and grateful to experience another day. Angel was awake and hungry. I fed her breakfast and made my tea. Then I got out the steam juicer and started making prune/grape juice. Then, I cut up the last of my tomato harvest and put it in the dehydrator.

My broker called and said that he had talked to Mr. H and we are good to go. After I sign the paperwork he will send in our offer for the house and then we wait. Ok wow! This all came together so fast. I gathered up laundry and went to the laundry mat. It was busy in there and I had to wait for a washing machine. I thought about washing it all at my friend TJ’s instead but I had 3 loads and I wanted to do them all at once. It was a short wait and worth it because I ended up getting a free chai latte w/ almond milk while I waited.
While laundry was washing I went home and checked on the juicer. On the way back to the laundry mat, I stopped by my friend Chad’s and told him about putting in an offer on the house he had told me about. He was super excited for me and we decided to go look at the house to see if it was unlocked, after I put my laundry in the dryer.
The house was locked but we found a window open next the porch and it was easy to climb into from the porch railing. I climbed in and unlocked the front door. We walked through the house, which was fully furnished. For a trailer house built in 1978, it was in really good shape. The house isn’t considered a house since it doesn’t have a foundation. I’m purchasing the land and the trailer house is a bonus. A great bonus because it’s a place to live and is in decent shape.
When I got home, I poured the juice from the steam juicer into jars and added more plums and grapes to the juicer to steam. Then I helped my neighbor wash her truck. It was a lot of fun and her truck looked great when we finished. I checked the juicer at home, then I walked up the road and helped a client measure his front and back doorway. He called and ordered some storm doors that he wants me to install when they get delivered.

Later in the day, I found out that the owners of the house accepted my offer and I signed more paperwork by email and had money wired over. Yay! I officially got the house. Happy dance! The broker said that since it is a cash sale, the house could close within a week. I called my landlord and told her that I had bought a house and would be moving. A part of me felt sad about leaving our cute little apartment. I’ve really enjoyed the apartment but I knew it was temporary when we moved in. I’m already paid up on rent through the end of November and gave noticed that I will be moved out by December 1. That will give me lots of time to get the new place fixed up and get everything moved.
I rode my 4-wheeler around town telling people I know that I got the house and that was a lot of fun. I visited my older sister when she got home from work and told her the news. Then I cleaned the bank and when I got home, I finished juicing the last of plums. I cleaned up the kitchen and got ready for bed. I read to Angel a couples of chapters from The Mouse and the Motorcycle. Then I put on a sleep meditation and went to sleep right away.

Morning prayer:
Good morning God,
- Thank you for this day.
- Thank you for generosity.
- Thank you for blessings.
- Thank you for great friends.
- Thank you for love.
I love you!
Dear Diary,
I awoke at 6 AM. I wrote some of my blog and got up at 9 AM. I made tea and Angel ate breakfast. Then we walked over to the house I’m buying. I showed Angel around and she was excited about her little room.
My friend Mr. W showed up and he looked over the place with me. He is going to help me put up a fence for the dogs and extend the carport out so that I can stack firewood under it. We also noticed that no hot water is coming out of the faucet in the bathroom. We attempted to figure out what was going on with that but didn’t get it resolved.
I cleaned my friend TJ’s and did a bunch of extra stuff, like cleaning the outside and inside of the front room windows and moving the big couch and cleaning under and behind it, as well as a few other things. I also checked on the chickens and gave them more food.
The rest of the day was spent showing friends the new house. I’m still amazed at how quickly this all fell together. Another friend tried to figure out the hot water issue with the bathtub faucet but we needed tools. I’m thinking it’s either the faucet not working right or the shut off valve is stuck.

A neighbor gave me a whole bunch of grapes from off of their grapevine. The grapes are super sweet after getting a frost on them. I’m excited to plant grapes at my new place as well as a bunch of fruit trees and a garden. I figured out how to get all the grapes I was gifted in the fridge so my house doesn’t fill up with fruit flies. I will be making more juice again soon.

In the late afternoon, Angel and I went to the library so she could pick out a new Dog Man book to read. There were some ladies there working on a puzzle. I joined them and eventually everyone left but me. I’m really good at puzzles and it was only a 500 piece. I was on a roll, so I ended up finishing it fairly quickly. It is a beautiful puzzle.

In the evening we went to girls club. There were a lot of girls there this week, 15 total, and they had a lot of fun. We sang, shared our prayers and gratitudes, had a lesson, did show-n-tell and played a game.
When we got home, I was tired. Angel showered while I wrote my blog notes. I read to her one chapter of The Mouse and the Motorcycle. Then I turned off the light and went to sleep right away.
Thank you for reading my blog and being a part of my life. I appreciate you!
Love, Victoria
