Morning prayer:
Good morning God,
- Thank you for this day.
- Thank you for daughters.
- Thank you for singing.
- Thank you for fun organizing opportunities.
- Thank you for love.
I love you!
Dear Diary,
I awoke at 5 AM. I wrote my blog and posted it. I got up and bagged up kale chips and I put a new batch in the dehydrator. I made Angel breakfast and woke her up to eat. While she ate, I made her lunch and made myself tea. I blend up some watermelon to drink later for my smoothie.
Angel and I got ready to go and hearted (headed) out to go a few cleaning opportunities. First we stopped at my friend Camille’s and dropped off compost for her chickens to eat, then we went to my first house to clean. I chatted with my client while I cleaned and Angel did her schoolwork. We went to my next cleaning opportunity and did the same thing. Before going to my 3rd house, I dropped Angel off with my daughter Savana at my older sisters so that they could spend the rest of the day together.
I went to my next house and my client had mixed her days up and thought that today was Tuesday. She said she wasn’t ready for me to clean today. I looked at my schedule and told her that I could come tomorrow if that worked better for her. She said that would be great. I called my last client that I had scheduled and asked if I could come earlier and she said yes. So I went straight there and cleaned for another 2 hours before going home.
At home, I took an hour long nap and cleaned the bank when I got up. Angel came home from spending time with Savana. I made her dinner and made a gallon and a half of pineapple/apricot/cherry/apple juice. Then I talked to Aaron on the phone while I cleaned up the kitchen.
When I got off the phone, I read Angel some of a Nancy Drew book and we went to bed. I wrote my blog notes and read some of my book. Then I turned off the light and went to sleep at 11 PM.

Dear Diary,
I awoke at 4:30 AM. I really wanted to sleep more but I chose to become fully awake so that I could get ready to leave at 6 AM without rushing. I wrote some of my blog until 5 AM. I got up and started Angels breakfast cooking. I made myself tea and a smoothie and checked the rocks in the rock tumbler. I rinsed them and then I put them back in the tumbler with a finer grit to shine them up. Angel got up and ate her breakfast while I made her lunch. Then we hearted (headed) to McCall to clean a house.
We listened to The Way of Mastery on the drive and arrived right on time. Angel did her schoolwork while I cleaned. I continued listening to my audiobook while got the house sparkling clean. On a break from doing schoolwork, Angel started doing a 100 piece puzzle. I was almost finished with cleaning and I stopped to help her. We had a lot of fun putting the puzzle together. Then I finished up and we went to another cleaning opportunity in New Meadows. I wanted to stop at one of the grocery stores in McCall to get kale to make more kale chips for the farmers market but I decided not to since I was right on schedule and wanted to keep it that way. I figured I would get some kale at M&W in Council later after I finished all my cleaning opportunities.
At my next cleaning, Angel had fun creating sentences for her school and I got the house looking great. Then we went back to Council where I picked up some money, dropped off a key and stopped at the thrift store. When I got out of my truck to cross the street to go to the thrift store, I wasn’t paying attention and walked in front of a truck coming down the road. I quickly ran across the street to avoid getting hit and the truck started honking at me. I turned to apologize for walking in front of them and then I saw it was Aaron. I waved and laughed, I hadn’t noticed that it was him that I had ran in front of. I found a few things at the thrift store and stopped at home to get Little Bit. Then we went to my last cleaning opportunity.
Angel continued to do her schoolwork and Little Bit played with my clients dogs while I cleaned. When I finished, I gathered a bunch of herbs from my clients garden and tied them in bundles for the farmers market. Then I stopped by my friends house that shares her yard with me. My friend was home and we talked briefly while I picked cherries. She went inside and I harvested some more herbs.
When I drove through downtown going home, I saw people setting up for the farmers market already. I stopped and asked if I could set up early and was told that the lady-in-charge would be there in a few minutes. While waiting, I took the opportunity to go into M&W and buy kale. I had never bought kale there before and now I know why, they don’t have any. I drove to Dollar General to see if they had any kale and they didn’t either. I took that at a sign that I already had enough kale chips made to sell at the market.
I drove downtown again and the lady-in-charge was there. She told me where my spot was and I got the borrowed canopy tent out of the backseat to put up. It was an older style and there were a bunch of pole pieces that had to be put together. I had no idea how to do it and there wasn’t any instructions. I asked a couple of guys nearby if they could help me and amazingly they figured out how to put all the poles together and the canopy was put up within a few minutes. Yay!
I drove home and got the folding tables and chairs I will be using at the market and unloaded them under the canopy. Then back home, I bagged up the kale chips that were in the dehydrator and ended up having more than I thought. I had 10 bags to sell at the market which was plenty. Next, I made 4 gallons of fresh squeezed lemonade sweetened with honey and put them in the fridge.
I cleaned up the kitchen, then Angel and I walked to my older sisters with our dirty laundry. My daughter Savana was there and I greeted her and my sister. I started laundry washing and rested on the couch a few minutes. Then I walked home to get some games for all of us to play. When I got back, everyone ate and we played Apples to Apples and Uno.
It was getting late and I was really tired. The laundry wasn’t finished but my sister said I could finish it tomorrow. Angel and I walked home and got ready for bed. I read her a couple chapters from a Nancy Drew book. Then we went to bed and I fell asleep right away at 10 pm.
Thank you for reading my blog and being a part of my life. I appreciate you.
Love, Victoria
