- Thank you for sagebrush.
- Thank you for friends.
- Thank you for love.
I love you!
Dear Diary,
I awoke at 3 AM. I wrote my blog and posted it. Then, I slept for another hour. At 7 AM, I got up and started Angel’s breakfast cooking. Then I walked to M&W to refresh my sign. I realized when I got there that I didn’t have my phone with me to take a picture. I brought the sign home to take a picture of it but I accidentally wiped it off before doing that. I finished making Angels breakfast, then I walked the sign back to M&W.
Angel ate her breakfast while I made myself tea and a smoothie. We got ready to go and went to my first cleaning opportunity. I cleaned for 2 hours, then we went to my next cleaning opportunity and cleaned for another 2 hours. Angel did her schoolwork while I cleaned.
When we got home from cleaning, I took a long nap while Angel played in her room. After I woke up, I went over to my neighbors and helped her clean her little rental house. It’s a cute little one bedroom. I unclogged her vacuum and scrubbed out the shower and cleaned the bathroom. Then we called it quits for the day.
I walked over to the bank and cleaned it while Angel went to my older sisters. When I finished, I drove across town and got a free windows air conditioner. I had put out a request for one on Facebook as well as a couple of twin mattresses. An acquaintance sent me a message saying that her parents had a windows air conditioner that they didn’t need anymore. Yay!
The air conditioner was almost brand new and I thanked the people giving it to me over and over. I offered to pay them for it but they said it was free. I was grateful for such a wonderful gift. I drove home and somehow carried the air continent upstairs by myself. I installed it and turned it on. It was really hot in my upstairs apartment and the cold air felt amazing.
Right after I got the a/c installed, my nephew came over with Angel to help me install the a/c but I told him I had done it already. We talked for a few minutes and helped Angel straighten out her blanket fort that she has over her bed. Then my nephew went back to my sisters and Angel and I got ready for bed. I wrote out my blog notes and feel asleep at around 10 PM.

Dear Diary,
I awoke at 5:30 AM. I had blog posts already written, so I added pictures and posted them. I started cooking Angels breakfast and made myself tea and a smoothie. I woke Angel up and got dressed. Angel ate her breakfast while I made her lunch. I packed up our food and we left to go to a pet sitting opportunity. On the way, I stopped at M&W and refreshed my gratitude sign.
At my pet sitting opportunity, I let the dogs out, fed them and gave them fresh water. I checked the cats food and watered all the outdoor plants. I enjoyed listening to the bullfrogs singing in the pond while watching the dogs run and play. After the dogs ran for awhile, they were all smiles. I put them in the house and drove back to town.
I dropped Angel off at my sisters so that she could spend the day with my nephew Christopher. Then I drove to McCall to do a move out clean. On the drive, I listened to a great talk by Michael Singer. I arrived right on time which is great fun to do. My client was waiting for me and he let me in the house. I looked around and began cleaning. I cleaned for 6 hours straight and I did a fantastic job. I appreciated that the oven was self cleaning and I started it on the clean cycle first thing, then I cleaned all the light fixtures and ceiling fans. I wiped down the blinds and the inside of all the windows and the glass screen doors. I cleaned the walls and baseboards and doors and door frames and window sills. The one bathroom wasn’t very dirty and didn’t take long. Then I dusted and washed all of the high plant shelves and the tops of the kitchen cupboards. I wiped the front and inside of the kitchen drawers and cabinets. I pulled out the fridge, stove, washing machine and dryer and got under and behind and around them. I cleaned the inside and outside of the fridge and microwave and scrubbed down the stove top really well. Then I did the floors, vacuuming and moping. I was done and the house looked amazing. It took me 6 hours. Yay!
I listened to inspirational music and drank my smoothie on the drive home. When I arrived, the house felt so nice with the air conditioner going. I blended up some watermelon and drank a bunch of it. Then I got out my laptop computer and turned it on. I haven’t used it in a long long time because I do everything on my phone but I wanted to take it to the city council meeting tonight so I can use it to take notes while my phone is recording the meeting. The computer started right up and seemed to be in good working order. I put it in a backpack and walked to my sisters to get Angel from my nephew Christopher.
When I walked up to the house, Christopher was on the phone. I went inside and Angel was playing on the Nintendo. I found my sister resting in her room and we talked for a few minutes. Then I walked back home to get my bicycle. I had planned to walk to the city council meeting but changed my mind and decided to ride my bicycle.
The city council meeting lasted almost 2 hours. The room was packed full of people that wanted to speak in reference to land that the city is selling to create an industrial park. One lady didn’t want the land to be sold and questioned whether proper surveying was done. The rest of the people wanted the zoning to be changed from industrial so that they could buy a plot of the land to for their church. The city council voted to keep the land zoned industrial and approved the preliminary plot plans. By the time the meeting was over, I was tired and ready to go to bed.
After the meeting, I bicycled home and drove out to my pet sitting opportunity. I let the dogs run and play. We walked down the lane and back, then I fed the dogs and checked on the cats and went back home. Angel came home from my sisters and we went straight to bed. I wrote my blog notes and went to sleep at 10:30 PM.

Dear Diary,
I awoke at 5 AM. I finished writing my blog that was mostly done. I added pictures and posted it. Then I walked to M&W and refreshed my gratitude sign. I laid back down and watched Little Bit and Sweetie play all around me. I didn’t lay there for long as I decided to wash my bedding and get moving. I stripped my bed and made Angel breakfast. I made myself tea and a smoothie and woke Angel up.
I started laundry washing at the laundry mat, then I got a chai latte and cherry danish from the coffee shop. I usually don’t eat danishes because processed foods run havoc on my digestive system as well as causes my mind to be depressed and cloudy. Processed foods made in a factory are low/dead/negative energy foods and not my ideal choice. For some reason I took that chance though because the danish looked good and I justified buying junk food by telling myself that it had cherries 😂. When I left the coffee shop, I stopped and talked to a friend who was outside working on the Hotel they are building. Her parents where the ones that gave me the air conditioner a couple of days ago and I asked her to tell them that I say thank you again.
I drove out to my drop-in pet sitting opportunity. I fed the dogs and cats and checked their water. I watered the outside plants and walked down the lane where the dogs were chasing “whistle pigs” (ground squirrels). The dogs ran and ran and ran. They were super happy and all smiles by the time we got back to the house. I fed them and checked on the cats, then I drove back to town.
I switched laundry at the laundry mat. Then I went home and picked fresh strawberries from my neighbors strawberry patch. There were so many that I got full eating them and got a container to put the rest in. After picking strawberries, I got our clean laundry from the laundry mat.
My nephew Christopher came over. We got ready to go on an adventure to Riggins, Idaho to have a picnic on a beach along the Salmon river. It was cloudy and cooler and rain was predicted but we weren’t about to let that stop us. The drive to Riggins was great. Christopher and I had fun conversations. We think a lot a like in terms of living consciously and we have a lot of the same perspectives in life. We drove through Riggins and stopped at a fruit store called “Fiddle creek”. They had fresh picked cherries that were being bagged up. I bought a bag for myself and one for my sister. I also bought some nectarines and a small piece of huckleberry pie with some huckleberry ice cream. Oh boy, I was really pushing my limits with eating junk food.
It was sprinkling rain when we left “Fiddle Creek”. I stopped at a campground off the highway that was next to the river. There wasn’t a sandy beach but it was a nice area. I ate my pie and ice cream and looked around at the plants. Suddenly it started pouring rain. We all ran to the truck and got in. I drove to Riggins and stopped at the city park to see if there was any covered areas to hang out in. There was one and we carried our stuff over to it. Angel set up a blanket with her toys on it and Christopher set up the lawn chairs. There were sprinklers going in the park and it was still raining off and on. Up in the bandstand there was a group of people having a meeting and 2 young girls that were with them came running over to Angel. The girls were ages 5 and 3 and they played with Angel and her toys for a while, then they started running through the sprinklers and the rain, getting themselves soaking wet. They were laughing and having fun and I joined them. We ran through the sprinklers and laughed and played. The girls brought me up on the bandstand to meet their grandma and she was a friendly lady. She didn’t might the girls being all wet and was glad they were having fun.

We stayed at the park for an hour. Then we hearted (headed) back to Council. I got home just in time to do a phone call with a Life-coaching client. The coaching session went great and I got a lot out of it as well. When it was over, I made my bed and put away clean laundry. Then I took a long nap. My stomach was hurting from eating junk food earlier and I was reminded of why I like to eat healthy. When I woke up from my nap, my mind was cloudy and I was feeling really depressed (more consequences from the junk food). I shuffled over to the bank and cleaned it. My body was so inflamed that I could barely walk. Angel went to my sisters while I cleaned and I picked her up when I finished. I drank a bunch of lemon water to help clean out my system and we went to my pet sitting opportunity and took care of the animals. When I got home, my neighbor was outside and she said she had a couple of mattress pads to give us. I followed her into her house and we went upstairs. She had 2 really nice twin mattress pads that we rolled up. I thanked her and carried them home.

Morning prayer:
Good morning God,
- Thank you for this day.
- Thank you for rain.
- Thank you for rocks.
- Thank you for children.
- Thank you for love.
I love you!
Dear Diary,
I awoke at 3 AM. I instantly started having a panic attack about writing the city council meeting article for the newspaper. My mind was foggy and my body was still inflamed from eating junk food yesterday. I did some deep breathing and meditation. I finally slept more from 5 to 7 AM, then I got up and quickly made Angel breakfast. My body was still swollen and my mind was really cloudy and depressed but I didn’t fight it and simply allowed things to be. Once my system was cleaned out, I knew I would be back to my high energy self.
I drove out to my pet sitting opportunity. I let the dogs out and while they were running around, I watered the outside plants. I walked up the lane with the dogs and they had a great time chasing ground squirrels. The dogs were all smiles when we got back to the house. I checked the cats food and water and put the dogs inside, letting them know I would be back that evening.
When I got home, I made a bunch of strawberry/orange/carrot juice and a gallon of fresh almond milk. Angel went to jujitsu and I walked to the Nazarene church to do yoga. Yoga class was fantastic. I really enjoyed it and my body was starting to hurt less as the inflammation was easing up. My mind started to become clear again. I felt grateful for depression because it reminds to eat healthy so that I do not get depressed or have inflammation. I know that when my body is inflamed, so is my mind and that’s what causes the cloudiness and depression. I used to suffer from chronic depression and schizophrenia, I also ate a diet of fast food, Pepsi and cigarettes. I had chronic infections and inflammation and was told by doctors I would have to be medicated my whole life. Not once was I told to eat a healthy diet made up of living foods. Not once was I told that all the processed, low energy foods I was eating was the cause of all my health problems. I am so grateful that 20 years ago I prayed to be shown how to heal and I am grateful that I received the answer and I’m grateful that I listened and did what I needed to do.

When I got done with yoga, I talked to Aaron on the phone and he invited me to go on an adventure with him that afternoon. I said that I definitely wanted to go and he said we would leave at around 2 PM. Perfect, that would give me time to take a nap.
I stopped at the thrift store on my way home and got a few things. When I got home, Angel arrived from jujitsu. I made her lunch and she played in her room while I took a long nap. When I woke up, it was almost time for Aaron to arrive. I was still feeling foggy and tired and that feeling continued throughout the rest of the day.
Aaron arrived and we drove up Cottonwood road and followed it all the way around to the East Fork Rd. It was a fun drive, we stopped a few times and let the dogs run and looked around. I didn’t go exploring as much as usual because I was feeling so tired and foggy. Regardless, it was a great time and being up in the mountains is really healing.

When we got back, Aaron dropped us off at home. I went out to my pet sitting opportunity and took care of the animals. When I got back, I made Angel dinner and we played a game of What’s the Point. Then Angel read one of her children’s books and I read a could chapter from a Nancy Drew book. Then we went to bed and I immediately fell asleep at around 9 PM.

Thank you for reading my blog and being a part of my life. I appreciate you.
Love, Victoria
