Morning Prayer:
Good morning God,
- Thank you for this day.
- Thank you for spring.
- Thank you for flowers.
- Thank you for love.
I love you!
Dear Diary,
I awoke at 5 AM. I wrote my blog and went back to sleep from 7 AM to 8 AM. I got up and started Angel’s breakfast cooking. She was awake and ate her food while I made tea and a smoothie. I rode my bicycle to a pet sitting opportunity. I checked on the dogs and cats and gave them fresh water and food. I told them that their owner will be coming home tonight and I rode back home.
I drove over to a friends house and she followed me in her big truck to where the camper is parked. We hooked the camper to her truck and she hauled it to her place. Then she showed me everything starting to come up around her yard. There was some asparagus coming up and I asked if I could pick some. She said that I could have as much as I wanted. I picked and ate a few stalks and they were super yummy. My friend will be working out of town during the week and told me that I am welcome to come hang out in her yard while she is gone. I can check on the plants and chickens and enjoy the beauty of her food forest. Angel told me last week that she wishes she had a yard to run the sprinkler with and now we do. My friend also said I could plant anything I wanted in 3 raised garden beds she isn’t using. Ohhhhh…I get to have a garden too!! On top of letting me park my camper at her place, sharing her yard and chickens with me, my friend hired me to touch up her house every week so that when she comes home on the weekends it will be nice and clean. I felt so very grateful for her generosity and told her thank you over and over.
Next, we went home and packed to stay overnight at my mom’s. Then we got in the truck and drove down to Caldwell. I stopped and filled up on fuel in Weiser. Then I took back highways the rest of the way to Caldwell, which took longer but was way more fun. I was surprised that most of the fruit trees were already done flowering down in the valley. The fruit trees up in Council are still in full bloom. I enjoyed the drive and arrived at my mom’s at around 2 PM. I greeted my mom and we hugged.

My stomach had been cramping up again, so I used the bathroom and rested in a recliner in the living room for a few minutes. Then I got up and asked my mom what she wanted me to help her with. She asked me to help her change the sheets on her bed and to clean her bathroom. We worked together to get her sheets changed. Then I got started cleaning her bathroom. I did a really thorough job and the bathroom looked great when I was finished. Then I dusted her bedroom and cleaned the guest bathroom. After that, I sat down and rested again for a few minutes before sweeping and mopping the floor in her kitchen and dining room.
Next, we went to the store and I bought a bunch of produce. I weighed myself at my mom’s and I weigh 190 lbs. That’s not a healthy weight and I desire to feel my best and be healthy. So I stocked up on lots of yummy produce. When we finished shopping, we went through the car wash and my mom was suggesting that I take my new truck through the car wash since it is covered in mud. I told her that I would probably do that.
When we arrived at my mom’s. We unloaded the groceries and I vacuumed the living room. Then Angel and my mom watched a movie while I drove my truck to the car wash. Except I didn’t go through the car wash because when I got there I realized that I left my purse at my mom’s. So going through the car wash wasn’t meant to happen at that moment.
I drove the long way around to my moms on the side roads. I watched the movie with Angel and my mom for a while. Then we took Bits and my mom’s dog Max on a walk. The dogs had fun running through the fields and it was peaceful out. The sun was setting and the sunset looked absolutely amazing.

After our walk, I went to my room and talked to Aaron on the phone. When I got off the phone, I had Angel get in the bath. My mom was in her room in bed and I went in to tell her goodnight. She held out her arms to me and I got on the bed next to her and she put her arms around me. We laid there and talked until Angel got out of the bath and wanted her hair braided. My mom and I both brushed the tangles out of Angels hair together. Then I put it in a French braid.
We gave my mom a goodnight hug and went to bed. I wrote my blog notes and put on a sleep meditation. We were asleep at 10:30 PM.
Thank you for reading my blog and being a part of my life. I appreciate you.
Love, Victoria
