Friday: Jujitsu, Recipe, Cleaning and Fun

Friday April 11, 2025

Dear Diary,

Good morning God,

  • Thank you for this day.
  • Thank you for evening walks.
  • Thank you for heart connections.
  • Thank you for adventures.
  • Thank you for rocks.
  • Thank you for plants.
  • Thank you for springs and streams and creeks and rivers and lakes and reservoirs.
  • Thank you for love.

I love you!

I awoke at 4 AM. My tummy was hurting from eating a bunch of ice cream before bed. I attempted to write my blog but fell back asleep. I awoke again at 8 AM. My tummy still hurt but not as much. I called Aaron and we had a fun morning conversation. I started Angels breakfast and made myself tea. Angel ate while I took a shower.

Angel rode her bicycle to jujitsu and I walked to my older sisters with laundry to wash. I started laundry going and brought a bunch of my stuff left at my sisters back home. Then I walked to jujitsu and watched Angel and the other kids. I wrote some of my blog while I watched.

When we got home, I made a Black Bean Fajita soup. Once a month, I do a recipe article for the newspaper. I created the recipe for the soup and cooked it up. It turned out well, so I wrote up an article with the recipe and a story about it. I like writing the recipe articles, I add funny things, at least I think they are funny but I think I’m funny in general.

I finished the article just in time to leave to clean a house in Cambridge. When I arrived, I saw that it was a one bedroom apartment. My client was getting ready to move into it next week and wanted it thoroughly cleaned. We talked for a few minutes. Then my client left and I got started. The apartment wasn’t very dirty and I got it cleaned from top to bottom within 2 hours.

When I got back to Council, I drove straight to the Assembly of God church and cleaned it. After I finished, I went straight to the bank and cleaned it. It felt good to get them done. Next, Angel and I rode our bicycles over to Aaron’s. I hung out with Aaron and we talked while Angel rode her bicycle around with the neighbor kids. Aaron and I have great talks about what’s real and being in the moment. Plus Aaron tells great stories and is fun to listen to.

We stayed at Aaron’s for an hour or so. Then we rode home and played Race Across the USA. My daughter Savana called and we talked for a while about her coming to visit. I talked to Aaron on the phone next, while Angel took a shower. Then we went to bed. I put on a sleep meditation and wrote my blog notes and went to sleep at 11 PM.

Thank you for reading my blog and being a part of my life. I appreciate you.

Love, Victoria
