Dear Diary,
Good morning God,
- Thank you for this day.
- Thank you for friends.
- Thank you for Bits.
- Thank you for love.
- Thank you for prayer.
I love you!
I woke up at 3 AM and played wordle and connections. Then I watched Americas Got Talent videos. At 5 AM I slept some more. Angel woke me up at 7 AM and I got up a took a shower. When I got out of the shower, Brett was making Angel breakfast. I made myself tea and sat in the living room writing my blog while Angel did her schoolwork.
I had written half of my blog when Brett and I started talking about my website. He’s a wiz at computers and I asked him if he could put a donation button on my website. He said he could and went to his computer. I gave him access to the make changes on my website and we looked at the dashboard. Some of the menu was having errors and we started trouble shooting the problems. That went on for a while but things weren’t getting resolved. I wanted to finish writing my blog and not mess with my website. I was getting frustrated with the process and Brett said he would work on it while I finished my blog.
Brett is starting his own computer repair business which includes websites and pretty much anything you do on a computer. He’s good at it and enjoys it. I told him, “people like me are the ones that hire people like him to work on their computers. I don’t want to fix my website issues, I just want to write my blog and post it. I don’t enjoy computer work and neither do a lot of people”. Once word spreads, I know that Brett will be getting a lot of business.
I left Brett to do his thing and finishing writing my blog. It took me an hour or so to get it all done. Brett took a break from working on my website and we played a couple of games of scrabble. When we finished, it was time for me to leave to do my dog walking opportunity.
It had been snowing all morning. The main roads were plowed but the back roads had deep snow in them. I drove through the deep snow on the road to my dog walking house and prayed I wouldn’t get stuck. I made it all the way to the house and got stuck at the end of the driveway. At least we had made it there. We walked up the driveway and got Roscoe from inside the house.
We walked in the snow for an hour and 15 minutes and I loved every minute of it. Roscoe is a great dog. Him and Bits had a fun time running around chasing snowballs that Angel threw. Angel had fun throwing snowballs and climbed up the snow drifts. I took pictures and basked in the beautiful mountain scenery. I am thoroughly enjoying winter in the mountains. I love love love living in the mountains.

After dog walking, I used the shovel that my friend Brett had given me to dig out the snow around my truck tires. I easily drove out of the driveway and made it back to McCall. I stopped at Natural Grocersand then went to meet a lady and her dog that I will be overnight pet sitting for in McCall Thursday through Sunday.
When I got to the pet sitting house, no one was there. I texted the lady but didn’t get a response. Then I called her and left a message. I waited a while and was just getting ready to leave when she called me back. She had forgotten and said she would be there in 15 minutes. I waited in the truck to stay warm and about 15 minutes later she arrived.
Angel and I went inside and met her dog Ramen. He’s a senior dog and was really sweet. The lady showed me around and told me everything I need to know. Then I brought Little Bit in to meet Ramen and the lady thought Bits was the cutest thing.
On the drive to Council, the road was clear through the canyon and we listed to Nancy Drew. When we got to town, I stopped at a guys house and picked up a little 450 watt heater and some insulation tape that he was giving away for free. Then we went to my older sisters. Angel stayed there and played Minecraft while I cleaned the bank. When I got back from cleaning, my sister and I talked for a while. I got Angel off of Minecraft and we drove home to our camper. It took me 5 tries to get up the driveway to where our camper is parked. It was covered in snow and hadn’t been plowed. After the 3rd try I was thinking we might have to go back to my sisters to sleep but then I became determined to make it up the driveway. I got a good run at it and almost made it on the 4th attempt. The 5th attempt was a success. Angel and I cheered as we plowed through the snow and parked up by the house.
Angel helped me unload our food and suitcase and bring it all into the camper. We put everything away and I organized some more. Then I made tea and we went to bed. I put on a sleep meditation and wrote blog notes. We drifted to sleep at 10:45 PM.
Thank you for reading my blog and being a part of my life. I appreciate you.
Love, Victoria
