Morning prayer:

Good morning God,

  • Thank you for this day.
  • Thank you for sisters.
  • Thank you for leaves.
  • Thank you for children.
  • Thank you for love.

I love you!

Dear Diary,

I awoke at 1:30 AM. I wrote my blog and prayed and meditated. I received clarity that I had a lack mentality around food that I wasn’t aware of. Growing up it had been feast or famine and I had developed a fear of going hungry. Now that I was aware of that fear, I changed my identity around food and became grateful to always have enough food. I rested in faith, knowing that I will always be provided for in all areas of my life, including food. Blissfully, I drifted back to sleep from 5:30 AM to 8 AM.

I got up and made Angel breakfast and myself tea. I cleaned part of the church until my friend Mr. W came into town to help me move my camper from my friend TJ’s to my new place. That all went smooth and I am looking forward to getting all my stuff in one place. I still have stuff in a friends storage unit. I have 2 bins of stuff in my older sisters attic and a propane tank in her garage. At my neighbors I have my fat tire bicycle, my 4-wheeler and trailer ramps. I have stuff scattered all over town 😂.

While Mr. W was still all my place, a cord of wood I ordered was delivered and dumped in my driveway. Before Mr. W left, he helped me load old broken furniture from out of the house onto the trailer. I took it to the landfill and the guys there unloaded the trailer for me. I was grateful for that because my body was sore.

When I got back to town, I started cleaning an Airbnb. I was halfway finished when I left to meet a lady who was interested in buying a mirror that was left in my new house. After she left, I noticed T-boy had gotten out. He likes to run off and explore and I’ve been keeping a close eye on him. I called for him but he didn’t come, I drove around town calling for him but didn’t see him anywhere. I went back to the new house and called for him some more. Finally after an hour, he came running up. He was in big trouble and got a big lecture before I put him in the truck.

I did a quick trip to the thrift store before going back to the Airbnb and finishing up. Then, I finished cleaning the church and cleaned the bank. Angel and I went to a different hot springs called Mundo. It is closer than Zims but we usually don’t go there because you have to make a reservation for a 2 hour time slot, either from 12-2, 2-4, 4-6 or 6-8. The pool is smaller and there are a lot more rules. I like to go to the hot springs spontaneously and Zims is so much more relaxed about everything but a friend invited us to join her family at Mundo and split a 6 month pass, I accepted the offer. I also split a year pass at Zims with other friends so now we have a pass to both Mundo and Zims hot springs. We are set for the winter.

We enjoyed swimming at Mundo. The big pool is only 4.5 feet deep and the little pool is the size of a hot tub. The water temperature was nice and felt good on my body. I was feeling really sore from moving furniture. I stretched and floated on my back fully relaxing my body for a short time but the pool had a lot of people in it and there wasn’t much room to float around.

When we got back to town, half of our apartment didn’t have electricity. I called the landlady and she said that I could access the breaker box through the other apartment across from me. I knocked on the door and my neighbor led us through her apartment to the breaker box. I hadn’t seen inside that apartment and it’s really cute. I flipped the breaker back on and thanked my neighbor. Then we got ready for bed. I read Angel a chapter from Runaway Ralph and talked to Mrs. H on the phone for a while. After getting off the phone, I wrote my blog notes and went to sleep at around 10:30 PM.

  • Thank you for faith.
  • Thank you for firewood.
  • Thank you for love.

Dear Diary,

I was awake from 3:30 AM to 5:30 AM. During that time, I wrote my blog notes, played wordle and connections, prayed and meditated. I awoke again at 8 AM, I made Angel breakfast and made myself tea and a smoothie. I walked to M&W and bought some salad fixings. I made a big salad and invited my neighbor over for tea. We sat and talked for an hour and had a great conversation about how in our childhood we create fears that still affect us as adults.

After my neighbor left, we rode the 4-wheeler to church. The sermon was fantastic but I didn’t take notes and I don’t recall the highlights, I just remember that the sermon really spoke to me.

After church, there was a potluck. I enjoyed visiting with people and helped clean up. Then Angel and I went over to our new house and started stacking the cord of wood that I had delivered yesterday. My friend Mr. W dropped off a wheelbarrow for us to use which helped a lot. We were about halfway finished when a couple of friends stopped by. They helped us stack more wood and when we had about 1/4 of the pile left, a 12 year old boy from church came over to help and we got it all done. I was happy to see the wood shed full of wood for the winter. There’s about a cord and a half in there and I will need even more to get through the winter.

I waited on someone to come pick up a log cabin bed frame that was left in the house. Then they messaged me asking to come tomorrow instead. I said that was fine and after stopping by my older sisters, I went to Zims hot springs with Angel. It was nice soaking my tired and sore body. I stretched and floated on my back, fully relaxing my body. I got so hot being in the pool that I sat with half of my body out of the water and the cold air felt refreshing on my hot skin. I felt so blessed to live near hot springs in the Idaho Rocky Mountains. It started to sink in that I own land here, in one of the most expensive places in the country to buy land right now and I got it at a really good price. I have so much to be thankful for.

When we got home, we got ready for bed. I read one chapter from Runway Ralph to Angel and went to sleep at around 9:30 PM.

Dear Diary,

I was awake in the night from 3 AM to 6 AM. I wore my blog, played wordle and connections, prayed, mediated and read during that time. I awoke again at 8:30 AM, I made Angel breakfast and made myself tea and a smoothie.

I went to the new house and met a lady who picked up the log cabin bed that I sold on marketplace. It’s a neat bed frame but it took up almost the whole bedroom and made the room feel crowded. It’s a heavy bed frame that I moved outside yesterday and I helped the lady load it into her truck. My back was still sore from stacking wood yesterday but only a little sore. She left and I dragged the stained queen mattress that was left in the house outside the back door.

Pastor Amy’s husband came over to fix a leaking shut off valve under the bathroom sink. He took a look at the toilet to see why it wouldn’t stop running and said it needed a new plunger system. I went to the hardware store and bought one and he installed it. Then he looked at why no hot water comes out of the bathtub faucet and said the whole faucet needs replaced. I went back to the hardware store but they didn’t have any bathtub faucets. I will have to get one and finish getting the bathroom running properly a later date.

Next, I got my 10 gallon propane tank from my sisters and took it to my friend JJ’s. I unloaded the tank and helped her load her motorcycle onto my trailer. I took it to her storage unit, we unloaded the motorcycle and loaded a washing machine she was giving me in trade for the propane tank.

I hauled the washing machine to my house. I unloaded it myself with a dolly and very difficultly rolled it across the grass near the back door. By then, my back was starting to feel really really sore and I called a teenage boy I know to see if he could help me. I still wanted to get the washing machines swapped out, put a spare stove and washing machine in the shed and take an old stove and refrigerator out of the shed, load them on the trailer along with the stained queen mattress and take them to the landfill before it closed at 4:30 PM.

The teenage boy said he could be there in an hour at 3:30 PM. In the meantime, JJ and her husband came over. They helped me swap the washing machines and we sat around talking for a few minutes. It felt good to sit and rest.

After JJ and her husband left, the teenage boy arrived. We loaded the old fridge and stove and mattress onto the trailer. That fridge was a beast. Then I quickly headed to the landfill to get there before it closed. The landfill is closed Tuesday and Wednesday and is it is going to rain those days. I wanted to get everything to landfill today so I wouldn’t have to wait until Thursday.

I gave the teenager money and instructions to put the spare stove and washing machine in the shed while I was gone to the landfill. Thankfully I arrived there before it closed, with 10 minutes to spare. I backed in and felt a slight wave of panic about getting it all unloaded by myself, with a sore back and I forgot the dolly. I took a deep breath and got to work. Somehow, I was able to get that beast of a fridge off the trailer, the stove was easier and miraculously I got it all done before the landfill closed.

When I got back to the new house, I checked to see if the teenager did what I asked. He did and he did a great job. I vacuumed the entire house and stopped at a clients to get paid before going to our apartment. My back was so sore, the muscles were having spasms. I made dinner and played a games of Life with Angel while we ate. Then I gimped over to the bank and cleaned it.

When I got home, we went straight to bed. I did gentle stretches and fully relaxed my body. My back was screaming at me and I apologized for overworking it and told it to calm down. I continued relaxing my body and doing deep breathing until I drifted to sleep at around 9 PM.

Dear Diary,

I awoke in the night and my back was feeling a little bit better. I wrote my blog notes, played wordle and connections, prayed, meditated and went back to sleep. I awoke again at 6 AM. I made tea and went to my friend TJ’s. I checked on the chickens and started cleaning and organizing the pantry. I was really careful about my back when carrying expired cans of food to the outside garbage. If I lifted too much weight my back would immediately clinch up, so I put the cans in small boxes and made more trips. As the morning went on, my back started to loosen up and I was grateful.

Next, I went to the post office and put in a change of address. Then I went to the title company to have them look over paperwork I received in the mail and while I was there I had divorce papers that Christopher sent me notarized. Then I went to the courthouse, pre paid my taxes, got the trailer house title transferred and filled out a homeowners tax exemption form.

I was glad to get that all done and headed to pick up Mrs. H to take her to an appointment with the dentist. There was construction on Highway 95 and I was running late. Just as I got past the construction through the one-lane only delay, I noticed that I was almost out of gas. I turned around and waited to go through the construction site again. After a 10 minute wait, I got through and got gas in Council. I was stressing about running late and reminded myself that everything will work out.

I called Mrs. H as I waited to get through the construction zone again. She said it would be ok, so would call the dentist and tell him she would be a little later. I arrived to pick her up and we headed to Weiser. We had fun conversations on the drive and sometimes Angel would even join in.

We arrived at the dentist on time which was a miracle since I didn’t hurry or go over the speed limit. I dropped Mrs. H off and drove out to the country to let the dogs out to run around. They ran and explored until I got a call from the dentist telling me Mrs. H was finished. I picked her up and we drove to a Japanese restaurant in Fruitland to eat. The salad I ordered was really good and we had fun conversations.

After eating, we crossed the Snake River to Ontario, Oregon. I dropped Mrs. H off at Walmart while Angel and I went to a plumbing store. I got a bathtub faucet kit and while I was at it I decided to replace the bathroom sink and kitchen sink faucets since the ones in there are old and leak a little. I didn’t see any kitchen and bathroom faucets I liked so I went to see what they had at Walmart and to check in Mrs. H. I didn’t like the faucets at Walmart and Mrs. H was still happily shopping away, so I went to Home Depot. I found faucets I liked there and after purchasing them, I went back to Walmart. I found Mrs. H and she was just about the finish up.

By the time we got back to Mrs. H’s house, it was 8 PM. I helped bring her groceries in and headed to Council. I dropped off the faucets at the new house and went to our apartment. Angel and I went to bed right away and I wrote my blog notes. My back was feeling back to normal. Yay! I went to sleep at around 10:45 PM listening to a sleep meditation.

Morning prayer:

Good morning God,

  • Thank you for this day.
  • Thank you for rain.
  • Thank you for wonderful clients.
  • Thank you for fresh produce.
  • Thank you for love.

I love you!

Dear Diary,

After being awake in the night, praying, mediating and writing my blog, I went back to sleep until 8 AM. My back was feeling better, it actually felt better than it did before I overworked it. I felt young and strong and wealthy. I made my bed, washed my face, got dressed, put on deodorant (baking soda), brushed my teeth and combed my hair. In between all that, I made tea and Angels breakfast.

After cleaning for my first client, I had an hour break. I started laundry washing at the new house and went to the thrift store. Suddenly I felt really tired. I thought about canceling my next 2 cleanings and crawling into bed for a few hours to get more sleep. I realized it was the dark rain cloud cover that was making me tired. I told myself it would pass and went to my next cleaning opportunity. Angel did her schoolwork while I cleaned. I got everything looking good and brought in a few bags of pellets inside for my client for his pellet stove. Then I went to my next cleaning opportunity and got her house looking good. She gave me a brand new perimeter collar and fence to use for T-boy so he won’t be able to run off anymore. I thought that was a great gift and I thanked her.

When we got home, I walked over to talk with a client and he gifted me some money that I had not been expecting. I humbly thanked him and felt blessed. I walked to the bank and cleaned it. Then I walked home and did a life coaching phone call for an hour. The coaching session went great and when I got off the phone, I was ready for bed. It had been a long busy day, cleaning 4 places and doing a coaching session. I got Angel in bed and went to sleep right away at 9 PM.

  • Thank you for clarity.

Dear Diary,

I wrote part of blog in the night. At 7 AM, I got up, made tea and Angels breakfast. Then I went to my friend TJ’s where I checked on the chickens and cleaned. I went to the new house and Pastor Amy’s husband Mr. M was there replacing the bathtub faucet. I got started replacing the bathroom sink faucet. That all went well until it didn’t and Mr. M took over. So I went to the kitchen to replace the kitchen sink faucet. That also went well until it didn’t and I ran all over town looking for two couplers. The hardware store had them for $16 each but I found them at the auto parts store for $7 each. Yay!

Before going to help Mr. and Mrs. H, I stopped at the thrift store and found some sheets for one of my clients. At Mr. and Mrs. H’s, I put a tarp over their boat with Mrs. H’s help. Then we put some flower pots in the shed and organized upstairs. I was feeling tired and was grateful when it was time to go. I quickly made a reservation at Mundo hot springs since we were close by. We enjoyed an hour soak where Angel played with a girl there and I soaked up the sun, stretched my body and fully relaxed while floating on my back.

When we got to Council, I checked the plumbing progress at the new house. The water was still turned off so I figured Mr. M had more work to do on it. A friend had plugged in an ozone air purifier machine in the trailer and it smelled good in there. I got some clothes out of the closet and went to our apartment.

Angel left for jujitsu and I got into bed. I was tired again. I am going to be glad when the new house is ready and I get moved in. I called a few people and talked on the phone until Angel got home. I got her settled in to bed and went to sleep at 8:30 PM.

Thank you for reading my blog and being a part of my life. I appreciate you!

Love, Victoria
