Morning prayer:
Good morning God,
- Thank you for this day.
- Thank you for 4-wheelers.
- Thank you for friends.
- Thank you for kindness.
- Thank you for love.
I love you!
Dear Diary,
I awoke at 3 AM. I wrote my blog and went back to sleep at 5 AM. I awoke again at 8 AM. It was nice to sleep in. Angel was awake and hungry. I got up and made her breakfast and I made tea and a smoothie for myself. I walked to M&W to refresh my gratitude sign when I met a friend. She showed me her office and we talked for a few minutes.
When I got home, Angel and I drove out to my friend Mr. W’s house where my 4-wheeler was at. He helped me set up a crate on the front of the 4-wheeler for the dogs to ride in. We got it secured, then Angel and I left with the dogs to go on a ride up East Fork road.
On the way, we stopped at another friend’s house and visited with him for a few minutes. He told us about an old cabin somewhere off of East Fork Road but I got lost when he was telling me how to get there, so I never found it.
After visiting we headed up the mountain. It was a beautiful day and the weather was perfect. We rode a few miles before I turned off on a side road. It was a really rough road and we slowly went up it a ways. Then we stopped to take a break and let the dogs run around. We discussed going up further but decided to go back down and stop by the river. The road was full of lots of big sharp rocks and I didn’t want to get a flat tire. We drove down and found a nice spot by the river to hang out and do school. We were doing art today and I had Angel find things in nature to draw. She wanted me to draw too and we took turns using the pencil and paper. While Angel was drawing, I found some thimble berries that were still ripe. They sure are tasty. The dogs had a great time running around. Tiny-boy is really enjoying his life with us. Little Bit and him are best friends and he’s super easy to train.

After hanging out at the river for a while we rode back to Mr. W’s place. He showed me around, then we put the 4-wheeler on my trailer and I hauled it home. My neighbor said I could park the 4-wheeler and the trailer in her carport but I realized that if I backed in and parked the trailer with the 4-wheeler on it then I wouldn’t be able to get the 4-wheeler off without having to pull the trailer back out. So my neighbor and I discussed options. We thought that if we put the trailer in the carport with the hitch facing the front then I easily could drive the 4-wheeler on and off of it that way. I set up the ramps and drove the 4-wheeler off of the trailer, unhooked it and manually walked the trailer in the carport with the hitch facing forward. Now we had to figure out how to drive the 4-wheeler back onto the trailer without it tipping. After some deliberation, we decided that we would allow the trailer to tip and see how things went. I set up the ramps and started to drive the 4-wheeler up onto the trailer. The trailer tipped and I kept going. I got the front tires onto the trailer, then the trailer tipped back up, the ramps fell off and I was high centered with my front tires on the trailer and my back tires on the ground. I calmly accessed the situation and backed up, the trailer tipped down again and the 4-wheeler was back on the ground.
I gave up the idea of parking on the trailer. I pulled it into the carport a far as it would go and parked the 4-wheeler behind it. The 4-wheeler was halfway out of the carport but it was a good as I could get it for now. After resting at home for a while. Angel and I went on a 4-wheeler ride around town.
When we got home, we got ready for bed. I was too tired to read and we went to sleep at around 10 PM.

Dear Diary,
I awoke at 5 AM. I wrote my blog and went back to sleep at 7 AM. Before I went back to sleep I started the steam juicer going on the stove with plums and nectarines in it. I slept for another hour, then I got up and checked the juicer. It needed more water and I spilled juice on the floor and my foot while attempting to get more water in the bottom. Thankfully it didn’t burn my foot. I started boiling glass jars to pour the juice into once it was done. Angel woke up and was hungry fur eggs and taters. I didn’t have taters so I turned everything down on the stove and rode the 4-wheeler to M&W. I got taters and carrots and celery.
I started making homemade v8 with the cold press juicer while cooking Angels breakfast and pouring juice from the steam juicer into hot jars. All the while, my thoughts were not pleasant thoughts. I was concerned about Angel going to Girls Club tonight. It will be the first meeting after the summer break. There’s a girl who doesn’t like Angel and tries to get the other girls to not play with her. I was trying to solve this issue for Angel and was feeling frustrated about the whole situation. The energy from my thoughts was transferring onto my juicing situation and it seemed like anything and everything that could go wrong did go wrong. (It would have been easier to give it all to God and quit trying to solve issues that weren’t mine to solve, but I forgot 😂.) The cold press juicer got clogged several times and I made a big mess getting it unclogged, every single time. I missed watching the juicer closely and the juice cup overflowed all over the counter. I spilled juice and juice pulp on the floor several times.
Because of the juicer getting clogged over and over, I was running late for an organizing opportunity. I finally finished and got the kitchen cleaned up. My back hurt and I was super frustrated with everything. On our way out of town, I stopped at a friends to give her chickens all the juice pulp. There was a lot of pulp and it was in an extra large metal bowl. The bowl was really heavy and while turning it over to empty the pulp out, it somehow all landed in my foot and my foot was all goopy and sticky. Ok already! I was ready to shift my energy. This was getting ridiculous.
I used my friends hose to rinse off my foot and the metal bowl. Then we headed to McCall. I had message my client letting her know that I was a half hour behind and she was fine with that. My client has a Pilates studio and she wanted me to help her get her storage closets organized. Yay! I got busy organizing and it was a masterpiece when I finished. Her once overflowing closets were now completely organized with room to spare.
I filled up on gas and stopped at Natural Grocer, then we headed back to Council. Before getting to town, I turned off of the highway and took the dirt road part of way so I could stop and let the dogs run around. The dogs had a great time and T-boy is loving his life with us.
Before going home, I went to my friend TJ’s. I checked on the chicks and looked around the yard. I harvested some tomatoes, blackberries, strawberries and raspberries. The strawberries have produced all summer long. I’m so amazed and how much food grows here all summer long. I had forgotten during my 10 years in Texas.
Earlier I had dropped Angel off at her friends house and now I saw her walking home. I picked her up and as soon as we arrived, we got ready to go Girls Club. We rode the 4-wheeler there and my friend who is in charge of Girls Club was already there along with one other girl. The girls started arriving and we got them signed in. We said our pledges and sang songs. Then we shared our prayer, requests, praises and what we were thankful for. The girls played a couple of games and Angel was having a hard time because the other girls were avoiding her. This is exactly what I thought would happen (our thoughts create our reality). At one point Angel went in the other room and was crying. I went and tried to comfort her but she pushed me away and wanted to process things on her own. I realized that this situation was something Angel would have to work through herself and the best thing for me to do was to give it to God.
After Girls Club we rode home and I let the dogs out. Angel met some girls outside that live down the road. The kids talked and laughed with Angel for a while. I enjoy watching and interacting with the kids. We were having great fun.
The girls went home and I talked to a friend on the phone. We laughed about me getting my 4-wheeler high centered on the trailer yesterday and my crazy morning juicing experience. When I got off the phone, Angel and I got ready for bed. Suddenly a mouse ran out from behind a shelf as I was walking by. The mouse saw me and ran back behind the shelf. I pulled the shelf out from the wall and the mouse ran into the front room behind more shelves. I pulled those out and the mouse had disappeared. I looked for the cat but she was hiding. I told Angel that the cat would get the mouse and we finished going ready for bed. Sweetie Alabama (our cat) ran into the room and instantly had the mouse cornered behind my folded up massage table. The mouse tried to run past her and she caught it in her mouth. Angel caught the cat and put her outside. Problem solved. We got in bed and I finished reading The National Park Mystery Series book 5 and we went to sleep at around 10:30 PM.

Dear Diary,
I awoke at 4:30 AM. I wrote my blog and posted it. I made tea and at 7 AM, I rode with the dogs on the 4-wheeler. We went down the road to the fairgrounds to pick up our Azure order. I helped unload all the orders from the truck and the dogs stayed on the 4-wheeler just like I told them to do. Good boys!
I rode the 4-wheeler home with our azure order on the back. I rested for a few minutes, then Angel was hungry so I got up and made her breakfast. While I was in the kitchen I noticed that there were a lot of juice splatters that I had missed yesterday. I wiped down the whole kitchen and finished just in time to leave to go to a cleaning opportunity.
I cleaned for 2 hours while Angel did her schoolwork. My client had a mouse problem that has been resolved and I’ve been cleaning out a few of his kitchen cupboards and drawers each week. I pulled everything out and washing it. Then I thoroughly washed the inside of the cupboard or drawer before putting everything back.
Back at home, I went over to my neighbors and helped her do a couple of projects. Then Angel and I went to the thrift store and the Mennonite store and rode around town putting up flyers for the Nazarene churches rummage sale that I am in charge of. It’s happening September 19&20 and I wanted to get the flyers put up to give the local community a chance to donate items before the sale.

We put up a flyer at M&W, the senior center and the post office. Then we rode all around town on the 4-wheeler. We stopped at one of Angels homeschool friends houses and invited her friend to come over. Her friends mom said she could and we rode to the Mennonite store so I could get the girls some ice cream but when we arrived the store was closed.
We went home and the girls played while I worked on some projects around the apartment. I installed a really neat looking toilet seat that I found like new at the thrift store and hung up a nice looking long curtain over a drafty door in the hallway. Then I put another crate on the 4-wheeler for the dogs to ride in. T-boy is adjusting nicely to his life with us and is a happy boy.

I took the girls to the park on the 4-wheeler and they played a while. Then I took Angels friend home. I chatted with a friend and her daughter outside the thrift store and went to the computer store to talk to the man that asked me out to dinner on Friday. We talked about where we will eat and I let him know that I didn’t eat meat, so it wouldn’t be awkward at the restaurant. We had a friendly conversation and he showed me the apartment that is being built in the back of his store. It will be a nice little apartment other than it will only have one small window and it is in the bedroom. I like lots of windows. I prefer to be outdoors and when I’m inside I want to see a lot of outdoors through the windows. The apartment will be perfect for someone who likes to be on their computer or TV because there won’t be any glare from windows.
Later in the day, Angel played with another friend, I cleaned the bank, fed Angel dinner and then did a Life Coaching phone call for an hour. The session went good and when it was over, Angel and I got ready for bed. I read a couple of chapters from a book called The Time Bike. I wrote my blog notes and went to sleep at 10 PM.

Dear Diary,
I awoke at 4 AM and wrote my blog. I went to sleep more from 5:30 AM to 6:45AM. I got up and woke up Angel. I made Angel breakfast and my tea and smoothie. We got ready and went to my friends TJ’s. I checked on the chickens and cleaned out their water container since it was turning green. I turned on the outside water and cleaned her house. My other 2 cleaning opportunities for the day canceled. I was thrilled. My day went from being super busy to relaxed. I took my time cleaning TJ’s and did an extra thorough job.
We went home and rode the 4-wheeler around town with the dogs until it was time for Angel to go to jujitsu. I watched Angel for a while, then a friend called and I met him outside the rec center. We talked for a while and let the dogs run around. Then we met up again at the thrift store and the grocery store 😂. We accused each other of stalking and laughed about it.
When Angel came home from jujitsu, she did her schoolwork. I wrote out spelling words for her to do and we worked on learning all the states and capitals. Then I rested and enjoyed having the windows open. I closed my eyes and listened to the sounds of the town. It’s a quiet town, I heard cars slowly driving by and 2 people talking in the distance. I drifted to sleep briefly and then I got up and made mac’n’cheese to take to a homeschool co-op skate party.
Angel and I rode around town on the 4-wheeler. Then I drove out to the country and it was fun looking at all the houses and small farms on the outside of town. We got back to town just in time for the skate party and we went straight there.
The skate party was great fun. I enjoyed talking with the other moms. When the school kids were home from school, I rode the 4-wheeler to one of Angels friends and brought him to the skate party. He hadn’t skated with roller blades but he put some on and said that he was going to teach himself how to use them and that exactly what he did.
When the skate party was over. I helped clean up and took Angels friend home. He got his jujitsu outfit and came with us to our house. Angel got her jujitsu outfit and I dropped them off at the rec center. I rested at home until the kids got back. Angel decided to stay the night at her friends. I took them on a 4-wheeler ride around town then dropped them off.
I went home and went straight to bed. I wrote my blog notes and went to sleep at 10 PM.
Thank you for reading my blog and being a part of my life. I appreciate you.
Love, Victoria
