Morning prayer:

Good morning God,

  • Thank you for fear.
  • Thank you for life.
  • Thank you for fresh fruit.
  • Thank you for friends.
  • Thank you for love.

I love you!

Dear Diary,

I awoke at 5 AM. I was still stressing about writing the city council meeting article. I thought about writing it now to get it over with but I was flooded with panic at the thought, so I wrote my blog instead. I finished writing it at 7 AM and walked over to my friend Camille’s to take care of her dog. On the way, I walked past M&W and refreshed my gratitude sign.

It was a lovely crisp morning, with a wonderful breeze. The walk was wonderful and refreshing. I let the dog out of his inside kennel and fed him. He ran around the yard for a while to get some exercise, then I put him in his outside kennel and walked back home.

I laid down because I was feeling tired and I slept more from 8 AM to 10 AM. The city council Meeting article was hanging over my head and sleeping was a nice temporary escape from that. When I woke up, I made Angel breakfast. A friend that lives outside of Cambridge called and asked what I was doing today. I told him that I was going to church and writing an article. He asked if he could go to my church. I’m not the boss of who attends church and I told him that he was welcome to come, with or without my permission.

Angel and I got ready to go to church and walked over there. I greeted people and got settled in. Shortly after the service started, my friend showed up and I invited him to sit by me. The singing was fantastic and sharing time was even better. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

After church my friend came over and brought me beet greens and kale from his garden. He was being extra friendly and I asked about his girlfriend. He said they were breaking up, which explained the extra friendliness. Before I could put a stop to him thinking that I was an option to replace his girlfriend, he quickly left.

I walked over to my neighbors garden and ate a bunch of strawberries. Then I fed Angel lunch and she went over to her friend Vicki’s. I sat down to write the city council meeting article and fell asleep again. I slept a long time and woke up at 4 PM.

When I woke up, I began writing the article before I could overthink it. I wrote for an hour or so and finished the article. I sent it in and the amount of relief that flooded through me was intense. I had been stressed about it for days and now that stress was completely gone and I felt elated. I went on a walk and enjoyed feeling light and bouncy. I noticed that there were fruit trees full of fruit all over town. Most of the fruit isn’t ready yet but it will be and there will be fruit everywhere. I walked over to Vicki’s house to see how her and Angel were doing. They were happily watching a movie together. I talked to Vicki for a while and when the movie ended, Angel and I went home.

I fed Angel dinner, then we went to a pet sitting opportunity to get instructions on how to care for the animals when they leave town on Thursday. Angel played with their kids while I talked with the mom. She showed me everything that needs to be done for the animals and we stood talking until almost 10 PM.

When we got home, we got ready for bed. I read Angel a pamphlet about all the different wild animals in Idaho. Then we got into our beds. I wrote my blog notes and went to sleep at around 11 PM.

Morning prayer :

Good morning God ,

  • Thank you for this day
  • Thank you for cherry trees
  • Thank you for friends
  • Thank you for an abundance of everything I need
  • Thank you for love

I love you!

Dear diary,

I woke at 3 AM, I started to write my blog but was too tired and went back to sleep. I woke again at 7 AM. I got up and made Angel breakfast. For myself I made tea and a smoothie. I walked to my friend Camille’s with Little Bit to give her chickens our compost and bring her keys back. On the way, I stopped and refreshed my gratitude sign in front of M&W. At Camille’s, we chatted briefly, then I walked back home. I made Angels lunch and packed it to go. Then we went to my first cleaning opportunity.

I cleaned for 2 hours while Angel did her schoolwork. Then we went to my next cleaning opportunity. I cleaned there for 2 hours. Then my client asked me if I wanted to pick some cherries off of her cherry tree. I did indeed want to do that. We went outside and she had 3 cherry trees abundantly full of cherries. My client, Angel and I picked a whole bunch of cherries. We had a lot of fun talking and laughing while we picked.

At my last cleaning opportunity, I cleaned for 2 hours and then we went home. I re-wrote my city council article because I had received a response to an email earlier that gave me more information to write about. I felt much better about the article after I re-wrote it and I send it to the newspaper editor.

Angel went to her friend Vicki’s house. Vicki is in her 70’s and her and Angel love each other. I walked to the bank and cleaned it. When I got home, I ate strawberries in my neighbors garden and we talked for a while.

Angel was home when I finished talking with the neighbor. I made her dinner and walked to M&W. I refreshed my gratitude sign and went inside to but some things. While I was shopping, I talked to Aaron on the phone.

When I got home, Angel and I got ready for bed and went to sleep at around 10 PM.

Thank you for reading my blog and being a part of my life. I appreciate you.

Love, Victoria
