Morning Prayer:
Good morning God,
- Thank you for this day.
- Thank you for mushrooms.
- Thank you for mountains.
- Thank you for friendships.
- Thank you for love.
I love you!
Dear Diary,
I awoke at 4:30 AM. I started to write my blog and drifted to sleep again at 5 AM. At 6:30 AM, I awoke again and I got up. I let the dog Jack loose and checked his food and water. I woke Angel up and as soon as we were dressed, we drove home. I made Angel breakfast and while she ate I made her lunch. For myself I made tea and a smoothie.
We drove to a drop in pet sitting opportunity where I fed a couple of Guinea pigs and a cat. I found the cat hiding under a bed downstairs. She likes to hide from me and I find her to make sure she is healthy and well. I gave the animals fresh water and scooped the litter box.

Next, we went to a cleaning opportunity. My client wanted a haircut and I had remembered to bring my hair cutting supplies. I gave him a nice cut and he looked so handsome when I was done. Then I did his laundry and cleaned his house while Angel did her schoolwork.
After I finished, we went to another cleaning opportunity where my client wanted me to deep clean her kitchen. I started at the top and cleaned the shelves above the cupboards. I took everything on the shelves down, washed it all and put it all back. Then I cleaned the front of the top cupboards, wiped down the counters and vacuumed the floor. By then, my 2 hours were up. Next week I will pull out the refrigerator and stove, thoroughly clean under and outside of them, as well as, wipe down the bottom cupboards, wash the inside of the windows and clean the blinds.
Next, we went to an organizing opportunity. I helped my client go through boxes in an upstairs closet. It took us 3 hours and when we finished, we put back half the amount of boxes that we started with. Some stuff we organized better, some stuff got thrown away and some stuff I took to donate to the thrift store.
When we got home, Angel rode her bicycle to play practice and I walked over to clean the bank. After I got home, I took a long hot shower. Angel arrived home and I showed her a card shuffler that one of my clients had given me. It needed batteries and I didn’t have the right ones so I walked to the store to buy some. I saw a friend at the store and we had a fun conversation. Then I bought the batteries and walked back home. We put them in the card shuffler and Angel had a lot of fun playing with it by shuffling the What’s the Point cards.
Angel took a shower, then we drove out to our overnight pet sitting house. I put Little B in the house even though the dog Jack is friendly with other dogs and wants to play with Little B. Little B needs to heal some more before I introduce them. I checked the cat food in the garage and filled it up. I fed Jack and checked everyone’s water. I played fetch with Jack for a while, then I put him to bed. Angel and I also went to bed. I read to her the rest of Ranger in Time and put on a sleep meditation. We drifted off to sleep at 10 PM.
Thank you for reading my blog and being a part of my life. I appreciate you.
Love, Victoria
