Morning Prayer:
Good morning God,
- Thank you for this day.
- Thank you for writings.
- Thank you for touch.
- Thank you for joy.
- Thank you for love.
I love you!
I started writing my blog shortly after I woke up at 5 AM. I finished writing it and posted it. Then I laid down and fully relaxed my body until Angel woke up and wanted breakfast. I got up and made Angel something to eat. I made myself tea and a smoothie.
After breakfast, Angel went to jujitsu and I bicycled to the Nazarene church for yoga class. The class was great and my body really enjoyed getting some good stretching in. When yoga was over, I bicycled to Dollar General to get some mattress covers but they didn’t have any. I checked the thrift store and they didn’t have any either.
When I got home, I interviewed a guy about the Lions Club to write an article for the newspaper. I didn’t get much information to write about and I’m not sure how I will put the article together but it’s not due for another week and that will give me time to think about it.
Next, I went to the laundry mat and started laundry washing. Then I took Angel to the skating rink to join in with a homeschool skating party. I asked my friend Camille if she could keep an eye on Angel while I did a cleaning job and she said that would be fine. Yay!
I cleaned for a couple of hours and got the house looking great. I switched laundry at the laundromat and went to pick up Angel. Then we were going to where I will be farm sitting for a week so that I can be shown how to take care of the animals.
The lady I’m farm sitting for was at the skating rink with her daughter when I arrived. We chatted with the other moms for a while, then we went out to her farm. She showed me how to care for the sheep, horses, ducks, ferrets, dogs, cat, bird and fish. I will start taking care of the animals Sunday ending through Saturday morning.
I arrived home just in time to do a phone call with a coaching client. We had a great session and when I got off the phone, I fed Angel dinner. We got ready for bed, I had a short phone call with Aaron, did some yoga stretches and put on a sleep meditation. I drifted off to sleep at around 9:30 PM.

- Thank you for this day.
- Thank you for cleaning opportunities.
- Thank you for morning phone calls.
- Thank you for light.
- Thank you for love.
I love you!
Dear Diary, I awoke at 4 AM. I wrote some of my blog and drifted to sleep again. I awoke again at 8 AM. I stripped the sheets off of my bed to get it ready for when my mom visits this evening. I put the dirty bedding in the laundry basket and got it ready to go to the laundromat. I took a long hot shower and made Angel breakfast. She woke up and ate while I made myself tea. Then she helped me put clean sheets on my bed.
Aaron called and I talked to him while I went to the laundromat and got the bedding started washing. After getting off the phone with Aaron, I talked to my mom on the phone about what we are doing this weekend when she comes up to visit.
When I switched the laundry to the dryers, I drove home. Angel left for jujitsu and I vacuumed my apartment. On my way back to the laundromat, I saw my friend Chad sitting outside his house. He came over to the truck and asked about how to get to Council Mountain Hot Springs. We chatted for a few minutes. Then I continued on my way to the laundromat, got our clean laundry and went to clean the Assembly of God church.
I got the church nice and clean and arrived home right after Angel. We put away the clean laundry and hearted (headed) to McCall to do a cleaning opportunity. When we arrived in McCall, I stopped at Natural Grocers and got some produce before cleaning. When we arrived at my cleaning opportunity, my client was out of town and the door was locked. I have a key for their house but I had left my keys at home. I called my client and she told me where to find a hidden key. Yay!!
I got started cleaning and Angel did her schoolwork. My client asked me to do a deep clean in the kitchen by wiping out all the cupboards, drawers and refrigerator. When Angel was on a break from school she saw me cleaning out a cupboard and asked to help. I was happy to have her help and had her vacuum out all the crumbs in the drawers and cupboards before I wiped them down.
When we got home from cleaning, I laid on the daybed and rested while Angel played in her room. Then I cleaned the bank and got finished right before my mom arrived to spend the weekend.
My mom went to my sisters first since she didn’t know where my apartment was. My sister texted when my mom was there. Angel and I walked over and we all sat outside talking for a while. Then Angel and I walked home and my mom and sister followed in my mom’s car. We got my mom settled in and I made dinner while my mom and sister played What’s the Point with Angel. I joined the game while the food was cooking.
We all ate and my sister went home so she could take her dog on a walk to the park. We all walked over and met her at the park and let the dogs run and play together. When we got back to my place, my sister left and my mom, Angel and I got ready for bed. My mom slept on the daybed, I slept on the trundle bed and Angel slept on her cot in her room. I got settled in bed, wrote my blog notes and went to bed at around 10 PM.

Morning Prayer:
Good morning God,
- Thank you for this day.
- Thank you for my mom.
- Thank you for sunrises.
- Thank you for lilacs.
- Thank you for love.
I love you!
Dear Diary,
I awoke at 6:30 AM. My mom was up and walking around. I got up and made tea. Then I took a shower and made Angel breakfast. I got out apples, carrots, ginger and turmeric and cut them all up to make juice. My older sister came over and we all hung out in the kitchen together while I juiced. I was thrilled that I was getting my juice made for the week. I ended up with 1 gallon of almond milk and 2 gallons of juice. Yay!! I made myself a smoothie using the fresh squeezed juice and almond milk. Then I cleaned up the kitchen.

My sister went home and my mom, Angel and I went to a woman’s community breakfast held at the Community Church. On our way there, my mom dropped a bunch of stuff off at the thrift store. The store wasn’t open yet but the guy who runs in was out back and helped us unload. I saw some bunk beds on the back porch that someone had donated and I asked about them. The guy said they were $5 and I said I wanted them. He helped us load the bunk beds in my mom’s SUV. Yay! We dropped the bed off at my apartment and continued on to the Community Church.

The breakfast was nice and the speaker was fantastic as always. She gave a talk about drawing nearer to God. After women’s breakfast we went to the thrift store and got a few things. Then we stopped at my sisters before going to the Assembly of God church for a mother-daughter tea.
The tea was fun. Girls from Girls Club sang a song for the moms and grandma’s and read a poem or scripture. Angel read 1 Corinthians 13:13 And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love. My mom talked for quite a while with the pastors daughter who was sitting next to her at our table and she seemed to be enjoying herself.

After tea, my mom packed up all her stuff and brought it to my sisters to stay the night there. I went home and Angel helped me put her bunk bed together. We didn’t have any mattresses for it, so I took the mattress off of the trundle bed and put it on the top bunk where Angel planned on sleeping. For the bottom bunk, we put Angels cot inside of the frame as a temporary solution. I’ll be on the lookout for 2 twin mattresses, one for the bottom bunk and one for the trundle.

We all ate dinner at my sisters. I had steamed veggies and rice. Then we played Q-Less for a while until it was time to go home to get ready for bed. Angel was excited to sleep in her bunk bed and I was excited to have my daybed back. We got settled into bed and I did some stretching and yoga. Then I put on sleep meditation and went to sleep at 10 PM.
Thank you for reading my blog and being a part of my life. I appreciate you.
Love, Victoria
P.S. this was Thursday, Friday and Saturday. A lot has happened since then. Stay tuned.
