Dear Diary,
Good morning God,
- Thank you for this day.
- Thank you for thrift stores.
- Thank you for roads.
- Thank you for kindness.
- Thank you for love.
I love you!
I awoke at 1:30 AM. I wrote my blog and went back to sleep at 4 AM. At 6 AM, I awoke again. I really wanted to sleep more but I forced myself to get up. I started my tea water warming up and took a long hot shower. I made Angel breakfast and woke her up. While she ate, I made tea and a smoothie for myself. My smoothie had 5 bananas, fresh grape/apple juice, homemade almond milk, spirulina powder and vitamin powder. My tea was loose leaf detox blend, cacao powder and Yerba mate.
We left right on time and drove to Cambridge. We listened to inspirational music on the drive and Angel told me stories about Minecraft. I drove to the Cambridge Cenex store to purchase some items but when we arrived, I realized I had left my purse at home. I guess I wasn’t buying anything.
I drove to a cleaning opportunity that I had already done for a move in. The lady was moving in later that day and I touched everything up so it would be extra clean when she arrived. Then I drove to another cleaning opportunity just outside of Cambridge. I cleaned for a few hours while Angel did her schoolwork.
When I finished cleaning, I drove home and got my purse. Then Angel and I walked to the Thrifty Shoppe. Angel picked out a few things to give to the lady that had given her a couple of Native American dolls the other day. I got a flannel set of twin sheets.
After getting home from the store, we rode our bicycles to the park to meet up with the homeschool co-op. The kids had a lesson on different types of clouds and created their own cloud identifying chart. Then they played at the park while the moms sat and talked. I was feeling really tired and left early to go home and take a nap.
Angel played in her room and I laid down in the hammock. I was just starting to doze off when one of my clients and her daughter brought a daybed over for me. I was excited to be getting a bed and helped bring it up to the apartment. I graciously thanked them for the bed and walked over to my older sisters to wash the twin sheets I had gotten at the thrift store. When I got back, I put the bed together and it looked great in the living room.

I sat on the bed and did a life coaching phone call with a client. It was a great session and as always when I am coaching people, I get a lot out of it too. Next, I called Aaron and we had a great talk. Angel rode her bicycle to play practice and I switched laundry at my sisters and cleaned the bank. When I finished, I got my clean laundry and met Angel at home.
At home, I put clean sheets on the daybed and made it up really nice. I made Angel dinner and we played Race Across the USA. Then we each took a shower and Angel said she wanted to go to bed early without a story. I was happy to go to bed early and got ready for bed. I went into Angels room to tuck her in and she seemed to be asleep already. I saw a light under her blanket and looked to see what it was. It was her Nintendo switch. Angel was suddenly awake and I asked her if she wanted to go to bed early so that she could sneak time on her Nintendo. She admitted that she did. I told her to not be sneaky and I would keep her Nintendo with me the rest of the night.
I tucked Angel in and went to bed. It was so nice to sleep in a bed. I really like sleeping in the hammock but I need a cotton hammock. My current hammock is slippery and it’s awkward to sleep in. I cuddled up in my blankets and wrote my blog notes. Then I put on a sleep meditation and went to sleep at around 9:30 PM.
Thank you for reading my blog and being a part of my life. I appreciate you.
Love, Victoria
