Dear Diary,
Good morning God,
- Thank you for this day.
- Thank you for deep sleep.
- Thank you for warm weather.
- Thank you for acceptance.
- Thank you for love.
I love you!
I awoke at 2:30 AM. I wrote my blog and posted it. Then I played wordle and connections. I slept more for another hour and woke at 6AM. I closed my eyes for a minute before getting up and suddenly it was 6:40AM. I jumped out of bed, made my tea and made Angel a quick breakfast of oatmeal. I made her lunch and a smoothie for me while Angel was eating and we left right away.
I let Lila out and fed her, then I stripped the bed and started the bedding in the wash. Lila and Kitty had been sleeping on the bedding for a month and it was dirty. Lila’s owner was coming home late that evening and I wanted everything to be nice and clean for him when he got home.
Next, we drove to McCall. On the way we listened to Nancy Drew. I arrived at the cat sitting house, started laundry and finished cleaning. Then we drove to New Meadows to do another cleaning opportunity. I got the house nice and clean and we drove back to Council.
I let Lila out and saw online that the highway closure was changed to Sunday night. That was great! I messaged my cat sitting client and told her that I could check on the cats everyday as we had previously scheduled through Saturday. She was happy to hear that.
Next, I went to my older sisters. My nephew and great nephew were there visiting. My great nephew is the same age as Angel and she was excited to see him. I sat outside with my nephew and sister and we talked while the kids played together inside. After a while I went inside to check on the kids and they were in separate rooms, ignoring each other and playing video games. My nephew was on his phone and Angel was on her Nintendo switch. She hadn’t earned any time on her Nintendo and I asked her to put it away until she earned time to play on it. She said that she didn’t know what to do because her cousin didn’t want to play with her. I asked my great nephew if he wanted to play with Angel and he said that he didn’t and he wanted to play on his phone. I told him it was time to get off of his phone and he said he didn’t have to.

I had to leave to go to an interview to clean the senior center, so I went outside and told my nephew what was going on with the kids and walked to the senior center. On the way I received a phone call about an overnight farm sitting opportunity in May. Yay! My pet sitting business is really picking up. I got off the phone right on time for my interview at the senior center. I went inside and there were several people sitting around a table. They all looked up and one lady asked if I was Victoria. I said yes and was told they had found someone else to clean. I thanked them for considering me and walked back to my sisters. I was glad to see that the kids were now playing together.
My nephew and I sat outside and had a real conversation, which I much prefer over a superficial conversation. We talked for an hour or so, then I walked to Lila’s to let her out. I sat outside with her and did a Life Coaching phone call. The coaching session went great. My client has been with me for quite a few years and it’s wonderful seeing her growth and expansion.
After the coaching session, I cleaned the floors in Lila’s house and made the bed. I walked back to my sisters, my nephew and great nephew were getting ready to leave. I hugged them goodbye. Angel stayed there with my sister and I walked across town to visit with a new friend I had made, his name is Aaron.
Aaron wasn’t at his house when I got there. I sent him a message and waited outside for a while. He got home and we sat outside and had a real conversation about living in consciousness and healing. The neighbor kids came over to where we were and we talked with them. They were great fun to talk to. One of the kids was the same age as Angel and they are in girls club together. I thought it would be fun to bring Angel next time I come to visit so she could play with the kids.
When I left, I walked to Lila’s and let her out. Then I walked to the bank and cleaned it. When I finished, I got Angel from my sisters and let Lila out one more time. I told her that her person would be home later. She is going to be so happy to see him.
At home, I filled up jugs of water at the water spigot, washed dishes and we got ready for bed. I put on a sleep meditation and we went to sleep at 10:30 PM.
Thank you for reading my blog and being a part of my life. I appreciate you.
Love, Victoria
