Dear Diary,
Good morning God,
- Thank you for this day.
- Thank you for mornings.
- Thank you for everything working out.
- Thank you for sunshine.
- Thank you for closed roads.
- Thank you for love.
I love you!
I awoke at 4 AM. I wrote my blog and played wordle and connections. At 6 AM, I slept more until 8:30 AM. I got up and let Lila out and fed her. When I got back, I made tea and made Angel breakfast. The highway was still closed so I sent a message to the people I was supposed to start pet sitting for tomorrow in a New Meadows letting them know that I didn’t think I could do it because the highway was still closed. They wrote back right away and said that they had been concerned about that and decided to take their dog Lucky with them. I was so relieved. I had been stressing about that pet sitting opportunity for days. I clearly saw that I had been stressing about nothing and as always, everything worked out. I messaged Lila’s owner and told him that I wouldn’t have to drive the long way to New Meadows and back in order to take care of Lila and he was glad to hear that.
Feeling better than I’d felt since the highway had closed. I went to a yoga class held at the Nazarene church. I haven’t done yoga since moving to Idaho and I was excited when I found out there was local class on Thursdays. Yoga is so good for my mind and body.
The yoga class was fantastic. I really enjoyed it and my body enjoyed it too. I am so glad to have a good local yoga class to go to. Yay! After class, I bought some groceries and went to the thrift store. I bought a small wall table for the apartment. It won’t be long until we move in on the 1st. Yay!
After class I saw that the highway was finally opened up to one lane. I quickly messaged Lucky’s owners to let them know and they said they had just left a half hour ago and “of course” the highway would open up after they had already left with Lucky and sent a laughing emoji. I laughed back, I was still so relieved that everything had worked out even though I didn’t get to pet sit Lucky and the cleaning opportunities I had scheduled for today in McCall and New Meadows had been canceled yesterday.
I stopped and let Lila out and went home. Angel wanted to play board games. I started a load of laundry, then we began to play Monopoly. Angel hadn’t played it before and did not like it after we played it for a while. So we put it away and played Life instead. Which was good because Life is way shorter than Monopoly. After playing a couple rounds. I switched the laundry and laid down to take a nap.
When I woke up, Angel wanted rice for dinner and wanted me to show her how to make it. After she ate, I fed Lila and let her out. Then we came back home. I talked to my friend Jason and then my daughter Savana on the phone. Savana and I had a fun talk and talked for a long time. When I got off the phone, Angel and I got ready for bed and I put on a sleep meditation. I wrote my blog notes and went to sleep at 11:30 PM.
Thank you for reading my blog and being a part of my life. I appreciate you.
Love, Victoria
