Dear Diary,
Good morning God,
- Thank you for this day.
- Thank you for dogs.
- Thank you for new love.
- Thank you for laughter.
- Thank you for cell phones.
- Thank you for snow.
I love you!
I awoke at 5 am. I wrote my blog and went back to sleep at 8 AM. At 9 AM I awoke again and made Angel oatmeal for breakfast. I made myself tea and packed up leftover smoothie. After Angel ate, we hearted (headed) to Lila’s. I let her out and fed her. I cleaned the Assembly of God church and let Lila out again. Then we drove to McCall to do another cleaning opportunity. On the drive we listened to a Nancy Drew audiobook.
Winter is still happening in McCall. It was snowing and the snow is still really deep there. I cleaned for 2 hours while Angel did her schoolwork. Then I got gas and we stopped at a coffee shop called Flying M. When I lived in Boise and lived bicycle only, I would go to the Flying M that was downtown almost everyday. It was 5 miles each way. At that time, they served fresh squeezed OJ in 16 oz. cups and I would buy 4 of them and drink them all in one sitting. Living bicycle only was some of the happiest years of my life. Sometimes I long to live simply like that again.

The Flying M in McCall was similar to the one in Boise. I got a chai tea and Angel got a blueberry pie. They had board games there and we played a game of Sorry. I call that game Sorry not Sorry. I won the game much to Angel’s disappointment. Next we went to Natural Grocers and bought a bunch of food to bring to Angels birthday party tomorrow.

We listened to Nancy Drew on the drive back to Council. When we got to town, I let Lila out and fed her. Then we went to my older sisters. Angel and Bits stayed with her while I cleaned the bank. I talked to Jason on the phone while I cleaned. We had a fun conversation, catching up on old times.
When I finished cleaning, I went to my sisters to get Angel and Bits. Angel wanted to stay the night and my sister said that she could. I went to Lila’s and let her out. Then I went home and packed my suitcase. I drove to New Meadows to do an overnight pet sitting opportunity, taking care of Lucky. I listened to inspirational music on the drive. When I arrived, I let Lucky out and got settled in. Then I talked to Jason on the phone some more. It was after 10 PM when we got off the phone. I played wordle and connections and wrote my blog notes. Then I put on a sleep meditation and went to sleep at around 11:30 PM.
Thank you for reading my blog and being a part of my life. I appreciate you.
Love, Victoria
