Wednesday: Pet Sitting, Cleaning and Zim’s Hot Springs

Wednesday March 12, 2025

Dear Diary,

Good morning God,

  • Thank you for this day.
  • Thank you for pet sitting opportunities.
  • Thank you for my children.
  • Thank you for smoothies.
  • Thank you for friends.
  • Thank you for light.

I love you!

I awoke at 12 AM, I let Raymond out and played wordle and connections. I went back to sleep at 12:30 AM. I awoke again at 3 AM and Raymond had pooped in the hallway. He’s old and has trouble controlling his bowels. I cleaned it up and posted the blog post that I had written last night. I attempted to go back to sleep and put on a healing meditation. I fully relaxed my body and let my mind drift but I wasn’t able to sleep more. At 4:45 AM I got up. I let Raymond out. I woke up Angel and she curled up on the couch with a blanket while I stripped the sheets and put them in the wash. I put clean sheets on the bed and started water heating up for Angels oatmeal and my tea. Then I took a nice long shower. It was heavenly taking a shower. I haven’t taken a shower in a long time.

The hot water was ready in the teapot when I got out of the shower. I made Angel’s oatmeal and made myself tea. Then I made Angel 2 grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch. I packed up our food and put the laundry in the dryer. While waiting for the laundry to dry, I wrote my blog and packed up the truck. I folded the laundry and we drove to Council. On the drive we listened to a Nancy Drew audiobook. While going through New Meadows, we stopped at the coffee shop and I got a chai tea.

In Council, we went to Lila’s, fed her and let her out. Then we continued on to Cambridge to do a cleaning opportunity. I arrived early because my client had extra stuff for me to do. Angel did her schoolwork while I worked. I vacuumed out her car and truck and wiped down the inside. I cleaned the house and helped clean out the garage. Then re-stacked some wood that hadn’t been stacked correctly. It was a lot of work but I enjoyed it.

Next, we went back to Council and went to the homeschool co-op. I led the co-op and the kids learned how to tie knots by following directions in a children’s knot tying book that Angel has. It was fun and one boy was really into it. After a while, the kids got tired of tying knots and played together in the playroom. I asked one of the other moms, named Camille, that I’ve become friends with if I could come over tomorrow and make pies for Angels birthday party. Angel wants apple pie for her birthday “cake” and I don’t have an oven to use since I don’t have the propane hooked up in the camper. I use a single burner hot plate to cook with.

Camille said that would be fine, she has a daughter Angels age and the girls could play together while the pies were being made. I thanked her and told her I would see her tomorrow. Angel and I left and I let Lila out. Then we went back to New Meadows to do a cleaning opportunity and listened to Nancy Drew on the drive.

I cleaned while Angel watched educational videos on her phone. When I finished cleaning. We went to Zim’s hot springs and swam for a couple of hours. I stretched and floated on my back, fully relaxing my body. Angel found some kids to play with and they had fun racing back and forth across the pool.

When we got back to Council. Angel stayed at my older sisters and played video games while I cleaned the bank. When I finished, I let Lila out and fed her. Then we went home and unpacked our overnight bag. We brushed our teeth and went to bed. I put on a sleep meditation and we went to sleep at around 10 PM.

Thank you for reading my blog and being a part of my life. I appreciate you.

Love, Victoria
