Dear Diary,
Good morning God,
- Thank you for this day.
- Thank you for love.
- Thank you for family.
- Thank you for grace.
- Thank you for abundance.
- Thank you for loyalty.
I love you!
I awoke at 3 AM. I wrote my blog and played wordle and connections. At 6 AM, I put on a meditation about healing childhood trauma and I drifted back to sleep. At 7:30 AM, I awoke again. Angel was awake and hungry. I got up, made tea and started some rice cooking. I made a smoothie for myself. Then Angel and I played What’s the Point while we waited for her breakfast to cook.
After Angel ate, we went to Lila’s. I fed her and let her out. Then we went downtown to meet with the lady that owns the apartment I’d been thinking about renting. She showed us the apartment. It is really cute and has a whole row of east windows. I love watching the sunrise. I signed the month-to-month rental agreement and paid her $2,300.00 for the first month, last month, deposit and pet deposit. Bits was with us, as always, and my new landlord thought he was really cute. It’s an upstairs apartment and there is no yard for me to have a garden or chickens, plus I will have to walk Bits downstairs and across the street to use the bathroom but it will be ok. April 1st, we get to move in.
Angel walked to my older sisters who lives 1 block from the apartment and I went to the community church for a monthly women’s gathering. We all ate and I was happy that I ate only fruit. Then we had a speaker and the main message I received was to ask God for divine revelation. I pray constantly for clarity and guidance but I’m going to up that to divine revelation. How fun!
As I was leaving the gathering, my daughter Savana called. She wants to take a trip to Big Bend National Park with me. We discussed options on when to do that. I was still on the phone when I went to Lila’s. I let her out and then went to the thrift store to look for furniture for my new apartment, mainly a few bar stools. I didn’t find bar stools but I found a nice coat, which is useful since I only have one winter coat.

I got off the phone and went to my older sisters to get Angel. Then we went to Zim’s hot springs with a new friend of mine who is the pastor of the Nazarene church. We had fun conversations on the drive there. At Zim’s, Angel played with some kids and I stretched and floated on my back. Then I chatted with my friend some more. I asked her about some things I’ve been questioning such as….most sects of the Christian religion teach that if someone doesn’t believe in Jesus they will spend eternity burning in hell. I asked her, “if all the original Native Americans were doomed to burn in hell because they didn’t even know who Jesus was?” She responded saying that they honored their version of God and that’s between them and God, what important is to focus on our own personal relationship with God and the condition our own heart.
On the drive home, Angel entertained us by telling us her “Wild Girl” story. I have some of that story written down and want to write down the rest of it. When we got to Council, I thanked my friend for going to Zim’s with us. Then Angel and I went to the grocery store to buy more yummy medjool dates. They were out of the dates and more would possibly be coming in on the next shipment which was Monday. I had gotten addicted to those dates and wasn’t sure I could make it until Monday but I supposed I would survive ok without them.
Next we went to Lila’s and let her out. Then we went home. I went up to Mr. C’s house and told him that I would be moving into an apartment April 1st and wouldn’t need to have my camper here on their land anymore. I thanked him and his wife for giving us a free place to park with only paying utilities. We chatted for a while, then I walked down to the camper and made Angel dinner. We played Blokus and What’s the Point. My mom called and I talked to her a few minutes. Then Angel’s adopted grandma called and wanted to know when we were going to come visit them in Texas. We talked about my daughter Savana wanting me to go to Big Bend with her at the beginning of May. They offered to pay for Angels plane ticket for her to fly to Texas and I will buy Bit and my ticket with my income tax return. We planned the dates from April 30 to May 14 and we will buy the tickets soon. I got off the phone and called my daughter Savana and told her the plan. We will go to Big Bend, May 1 – May 5 and Angel will stay with her adopted grandparents. When we get back, Angel and I will visit Christopher and all our friends in Texas. It will be wonderful seeing everyone.
Angel and I went to bed. I wrote my blog notes and put on a sleep meditation. We drifted to sleep at around 9:30 PM.
Thank you for reading my blog and being a part of my life. I appreciate you.
Love, Victoria
