Dear Diary,
Good morning God,
- Thank you for this day.
- Thank you for family.
- Thank you for heaters.
- Thank you for sunshine.
- Thank you for audiobooks.
I love you!
I awoke at 3 am. I posted my blog and tried to go back to sleep. I was stressed about writing the article about the city council meeting. I wasn’t sure when I would have time to write it before Monday afternoon and I was all worked up about getting all the information correct. I did a full body relaxation session and prayed to be given the words to write. My stomach was in knots and I couldn’t go back to sleep. I kept thinking about the city council article and then thinking about everything I needed to do that day. I was meeting a newly hired lady at the bank at 7 AM to show her everything. Right after that I was scheduled to clean a house in Cambridge from 8 AM to 11 AM. Then back to Council to bid cleaning the Senior Center at 11:30 AM. Then going to homeschool co-op from 12:30 PM to 2 PM. After that I was bringing a meal to church to drop off for the youth group. Then packing up the last of our stuff from my older sisters and bringing it to the camper, putting it all away and then driving to Boise to meet my adult daughter at the airport at 6 PM. After that we were meeting a bunch of family and friends at Idaho Pizza in Meridian at 7 PM and finally going to my moms in Caldwell to stay the night.
At 5:45 AM, I messaged my cleaning client and canceled coming today. My schedule was too full and I wasn’t feeling good, plus this particular client is not very friendly towards Angel and I might stop cleaning for her altogether. I have an abundance of cleaning opportunities right now and the Holy Spirit is guiding me to step away from this client. I’ll pray about it some more before making a final decision.
My stomach was cramped up and in knots and I wanted to get more sleep. I put on a sleep meditation and slept deeply for an hour until 6:50 AM. I had been having a funny dream that I had been laughing and laughing in. I woke up filled with joy. I jumped out of bed, got dressed and drove to the bank. The newly hired lady was waiting for me and I showed her around. We chatted for a while and then I drove back home.
I made tea and was getting ready to lay down to take a morning nap. I went to put some dirty laundry in the bathroom and the door wouldn’t open. I tried opening it with a knife and that didn’t work. I tried opening it with a screwdriver and part of the door handle broke off but the door opened. Yay! I put the dirty laundry in the laundry basket and closed the door again. Then I realized that with the broken handle I couldn’t open it again. I tried everything I could think of to get it open. Nothing worked. Finally I took the door off by unscrewing the hinges. From the inside of the door, I was able to access the screws to take the entire handle off. I put the door back on without a handle and ordered a new handle online.
Again, I went to lay down and take a nap when Angel woke up and was hungry. I made her breakfast and made myself a smoothie. Then we did her schoolwork together until it was time to go to the Senior Center to do a bid on cleaning it. For Angels school we did a workbook on the human body and it was a lot of fun. Angel really got into it. The workbook included crossword puzzles and mazes and fun experiments to do. One of the experiments we did was feel objects inside a bag and guess what they were without looking at them. Another experiment was to cover one eye and try to touch things, noticing how it was harder to tell distance with just one eye. Angel did another experiment of tasting food without smelling it by plugging her nose. She observed that the food didn’t have as much flavor and tasted different.
At the Senior Center, there were several people I knew and I put in a bid to clean it. I’m sure I will get the bid. Next, we went to my old sisters. I loaded up some of our stuff and brought it to the camper. I unloaded it and put it inside without putting it away. Then we went to homeschool co-op.
There was a new mom at the co-op and we hit it off right away. She eats a whole food, plant based diet too and we had lots to talk about. She had huge improvements with her health when she changed her diet just like I did. She shared how her family rarely gets sick and how her dad reversed his heart disease when he started eating a plant based diet. I love hearing stories like that. We discussed doing classes for the community, teaching people how to make delicious whole food plant based meals. It was great to connect with her.
Another mom that had started coming to the co-op last week volunteered to do the lesson this week and she went all-out. She had stations set up all around the room. There was a puzzle station, a reading station, a fine motor skills station, and a building station. Angel had fun building things with stars that connect together.

After the co-op. I stopped at the grocery store and bought salad and bread. Then I went to my older sisters and picked up a stew she had made for a work potluck a couple of days ago. She had a whole bunch left over and donated it for me to take to the youth group. I dropped off the stew, salad and bread at the church and went back to my older sisters. I packed up the last of our stuff from her house, except for my sewing stuff and brought it to the camper.
Angel helped me bring our stuff inside and we got busy finding places for it all. We sorted through everything and created a big donation pile. It took a couple of hours but we managed to get everything put away. Amazingly it all fit and it looks really nice. I even have some extra space where I can put my sewing stuff.
We loaded up the things we were donating and dropped them off at the thrift store. Then we headed down the mountain to the valley. We had left too late to pick up my adult daughter from the airport but her friend was going to be there to pick her up. I sent my daughter a text telling her that we would meet them at Idaho Pizza.
Angel and I listened to Nancy Drew and The Captive Witness Mystery on the drive and finished the book 5 minutes before we arrived at Idaho Pizza. When we walked in the door, Angel and her sister were super excited to see each other. My adult daughter’s dad and step mom were there, as well as a couple of her friends and my nephew and a family friend. There were hugs all around and it was a great welcoming party for my daughter. I chatted with everyone and ate salad and toppings off of couple pieces of a vegetable pizza. My nephew and I had a great conversation about spiritual growth and acceptance. It was a lot of fun.

When we all left, Angel and I went to my moms and my adult daughter met us there. We got ready for bed and brushed our teeth. My daughters slept together in one room and I had a room to myself. I wrote my blog notes and put on a sleep meditation. I drifted off to sleep right away at around 10 PM.
Thank you for reading my blog and being a part of my life. I appreciate you.
Love, Victoria
P.S. this blog post was inspired by the Holy Spirit.
