Cleaning, RV spots and Zim’s

Dear Diary,

Good morning God,

  • Thank you for this day.
  • Thank you for dog sitting.
  • Thank you for cleaning opportunities.
  • Thank you for Angel.
  • Thank you for kindness.
  • Thank you for life.

I love you!

I awoke at 7 am. Angel woke up at the same time. We got up and I let the dogs out. I made Angel a quesadilla for breakfast and packed up another one for her lunch. For myself, I made tea and packed up leftover smoothie. Then we hearted (headed) to McCall to do a cleaning opportunity. It was snowing and the house I was cleaning was in a neighborhood up on a hill and had a steep driveway. The road wasn’t plowed going through the neighborhood but my truck did fine with its studded snow tires. When I got to the house, the driveway was plowed. I was grateful for that.

There were lights on in the house. I hadn’t been expecting anyone to be there. It’s a family vacation house and they aren’t usually there when I clean. The front door was unlocked. I called out “hello” as we went inside. A man answered back “hello” from upstairs. I went upstairs and the man introduced himself as the owner. I had only messaged with his wife. He had been expecting me and said that he would be working in the office while I cleaned.

Angel sat on the couch and started her schoolwork and I got busy cleaning.

The house is brand new and fancy and was barely dirty. It took me two hours to clean it and it looked great when I finished.

We left and went to my friend Brett’s. His brother and sister-in-law were there. Angel played on her phone while the adults all sat at the table talking. We had fun conversations and I stayed for an hour or so. When we left, I stopped at Natural Grocers and got some fruit. Then I drove to look at a RV spot for rent between Riggins and New Meadows.

The RV spot was great and was only $350 a month. It was off of highway 95 and the Little Salmon river was across the highway. The lady whose land it was on was really nice and she homeschools her 12 year old daughter. We sat in her house and talked while the girls played together upstairs. I really like the spot but it is far away from Council and Cambridge where I have clients and I don’t have any phone service there. The rv spot has a shed and a big area all to myself where I can have chickens. The Little Salmon River is right across the highway. It’s in a beautiful canyon and is in the “banana belt” so it had a longer growing season. There was no snow there and it’s only 15 minutes away from Zim’s. There are so many pluses but I definitely need to have phone service. The lady has Wi-Fi at her house. I called her provider to see if I could get Wi-Fi also but they said that I couldn’t because the service was maxed out in that area. I looked up starlink but I wasn’t paying $169 a month for Wi-Fi. The lady said she would look into getting an extension for her Wi-Fi and would let me know. She liked me and really wanted me to move into the rv spot.

Next we went to Zim’s hot springs. It was busy again. I floated on my back and stretched out in the deep end where there weren’t very many people. An older man randomly started talking to me. He said that he lives in Riggins. I told him that I might possibly move to an rv spot close to Riggins. He said that him and his wife have an rv spot with hook ups on their land and that I was welcome to park there if I wanted. Wow, all of a sudden I was getting so many choices of different places to live. I like the Riggins area a lot but I’m already established in Council. I sent out a prayer to receive clarity on where to live.

After Zim’s, we went to my dog sitting house in New Meadows. I let the dogs out to use the bathroom and made Angel mac and cheese for dinner. Then we went to bed early. I read Angel a few chapters out of a book called Ranger in Time. I put on a sleep meditation for Angel and looked at rv’s for sale on Facebook marketplace. I went to sleep at around 9:30 pm.

Thank you for reading my blog and being a part of my life. I appreciate you.

Love, Victoria
