I awoke at 5:30 am. I wrote my blog and played wordle and connections. At 7:30am, Angel came into my room just as I was finishing up. We cuddled up and I read her my blog. She approved and I posted it. Angel went in her room and started painting. I laid back down and wanted to sleep some more but I had a lot to do. I started thinking about all I needed to do and gave up on having a little morning nap. I went downstairs and made tea. Angel wanted grilled cheese sandwiches for breakfast and while they were cooking I made a smoothie. My smoothie had a couple of handfuls of medjool dates and 5 bananas blended with fresh fruit juice. Angel ate and I cleaned up the kitchen and started the dishwasher.
Angel and I went upstairs and I painted a few rocks. I’m almost completely finished with all of my rocks. I made one dog coat and then it was time to leave to go to jujitsu. Angel rode her bicycle and I walked to the recreation center. The inversion was still going on and everything was covered in beautiful frost formations.
I sat on the bleachers and watched the kids and wrote my blog for a few minutes. Then I walked home and made another dog coat. I’ve started making them reversible and they are turning out really cute.
I walked back to the rec center to get Angel. On the way home, I saw my friend that is letting me borrow her sewing machine. I had been thinking about messaging her and sending her pictures of the dog coats I had been making. Now I could talk to her in person which was even better. I told her thank you for letting me use her sewing machine and showed her pictures of dog coats. We chatted for a few minutes and I continued home.
Angel and I got in my truck and drove to New Meadows to do an organizing opportunity. We listened to a Nancy Drew audiobook on the drive. As soon as we started driving up the mountain, we came out of the inversion and it was a beautiful sunny day. The inversion had creeped up a little higher than it had been yesterday and it reminded of a Stephen King book I had read back in high school called The Mist, where a fog slowly covers the earth and terrifying creatures emerge out of the mist. I didn’t have any fear of any of that coming true but the inversion definitely could last a while and keep expanding higher and higher.
When we arrived at my clients house, Angel did her schoolwork and I helped my client get ideas on how to organize their walk in closet, laundry room and pantry. I helped her move a table from the kitchen to the back of their truck to give away. Then we put together shelves for their pantry. I drank my smoothie while I worked and we enjoyed each others company. I had a lot of fun! love organizing opportunities!!
When I finished, Angel and I went swimming at Zim’s hot springs since we were already in New Meadows. Only a few people were swimming and there weren’t any other kids there at first. Right before we left a few showed up and Angel got to play with them a few minutes. I stretched and fully relaxed my body. I was feeling really tired. My body is detoxing since I’ve gone back to eating all raw. There has been a lot of elimination going on (yes, TMI) as my body is getting back to a clean state. I was soaking in the hot pool with my head resting on my arms on the side of the pool and I fell asleep. I woke up 10 minutes later because my arms had fallen asleep in that position. I hadn’t even realized that I had been asleep. We stayed at the pool for only 45 minutes because I needed to get home and start setting up for the craft fair. I didn’t want to set up for the craft fair, I wanted to go home and go to bed until I was done detoxing. I feel really run down.
The drive home was good. When we entered the inversion, it was interesting how dark it was compared to being in the sunshine. When we arrived home, I unloaded the back of the truck to put a folding table in it. My body was feeling weak and I went inside to lay down for a while. My sister was home and I ate leftover salad while I talked to her. The salad revived me and I felt energized by the time I finished eating. I didn’t feel like laying down now, so I packed up my painted rocks and dog coats and put them in the truck. Then I loaded up the folding table and drove to church where the craft fair was being held. It starts tomorrow at 9 am. On the way to the church I stopped at my neighbors 2 houses away. She is sharing my reserved space for the craft fair with me. I told her I was heading to the church and she said she would meet me there.
At church, I was shown where my space was and I started setting things up. My neighbor arrived and I helped her carry her stuff in. I was glad she was sharing my space with me because I didn’t have much stuff and she makes really cute decorations made with coffee cups. Her crafts made the space look a lot nicer. When everything was set up, I walked around and looked at the other crafts people were selling. There were a lot of neat things and it was fun seeing how creative people can be.
When I got home, I started making more dog coats. I sewed until 9:30pm. Angel had been watching my sister play video games and she joined me upstairs. She had me help her tie bows in ribbons that she had tied around her painted rocks that she wanted to sell. At 10 pm we went to bed. I finished writing my blog. I had already written most of it throughout the day during my bathroom breaks. At 10:45pm, I turned out the light and went to sleep.
Thank you for reading my blog and being a part of my life. I appreciate you.
Love, Victoria
