Dear Diary,
I woke up at 4:30 AM and wrote my blog until 6 AM. Then I did a full body relaxation session and prayed my gratitudes:
- I am grateful for the song of the Chuck Wills Widow.
- I am grateful for love
- I am grateful for rain.
I woke Angel up and I let out the ducks, chickens and geese. We went into the house and I greeted Christopher. He had a waffle ready for Angel to eat and I made tea and a smoothie. My smoothie today was bananas, spirulina, fresh almond milk, turmeric, honey and fresh pineapple juice. Angel and I got ready to go to town.
When we arrived at my first cleaning opportunity, I told my client right away that I was moving. She said that she needed to sit down and almost started crying. I gave her a phone number for another cleaning lady and that seemed to help her feel better. I got Angel settled into doing her schoolwork while I cleaned the house. She happily did all of her required 9 pages and watched PBS kids on her phone the rest of the time.
When I finished cleaning, I picked up Ms. M. We went to a quick cleaning opportunity, where I touch up a house that is for sale. Then we went through the car wash. Kyle Cooke messaged me saying that the newspapers had arrived. I drove straight to the Rockdale Reporter to pick them up. Angel decided to stay at the Reporter to hang out with Suzie up front and play on her phone, while I did the paper route.
The paper route went great. I really enjoy delivering the papers and chatting with people when I bring the papers into the different businesses. I love people!
I picked up Angel after completing the route and took Ms. M home. Next, I did my cat sitting opportunity and went to Tracey’s house. It was good to see him and we hugged in greeting. Tracey had bought a bunch of craft projects for Angel and she was excited to do them. I was feeling tired and took a nap in the hammock while Tracey and Angel did some of her craft projects together. When I woke up, Angel was painting. We cleaned up and went home. Tracey followed us and arrived a few minutes later. Christopher wasn’t home, he was out in the woods drinking with his friends. I let out the yorkies, then Tracey, Angel and I and all the dogs and cats sat in the banana hut and looked at pictures on my laptop for a while. Then Tracey helped me load my electric bicycle in the back of my truck to take to his place. It had stopped working months ago and he is going to see if he can figure out how to fix it. I burned up a couple of wires and even though Christopher spliced them back together it did not fix the problem. I have a feeling the main control panel needs to be replaced. I am grateful Tracey is helping me figure out how to get it running because it’s great fun to ride and I’d like to get it going again.
We drove the bicycle to Tracey’s and unloaded it. Then I started a craft with Angel while Tracey rested. When he got up he took the dogs on a walk and Angel joined him. I stayed and worked on a puzzle I had started putting together. Tracey came back a half hour or so later and said that Angel was upset because he wouldn’t go swimming with her in the pond and she was still outside. He laid down in his room and Angel come in shortly after that. She told me that she really wanted to go swimming. I told her that we were not going swimming but I would do a craft with her. She sat across the table from me and cried, telling me all the things bothering her. I listened and asked if she wanted to come sit by me and have a hug. She didn’t want to, so I sang to her and listened to her some more. Comforting her with my gentle responses of understanding. She started working on a craft and I went to talk to Tracey. After a few minutes Angel came in and I held her on my lap and sang to her until she was almost asleep.
I took Angel home to put her in bed. She was wide awake again by the time we arrived. I took a shower and we got into bed. We talked to Tracey on the phone saying our good nights. Then I put on a unicorn meditation and we fell asleep at 10:30 pm.
Thank you for reading my blog and being a part of my life. I appreciate you.
Love, Victoria
