Dear Diary,
I woke up at 4:30 AM. I wrote my blog and at around 6 AM, I let the birds out. I fell back asleep and woke again at 7 AM. I went in the house and greeted Christopher. I made tea and a packed up a leftover smoothie from 2 days ago since I fasted yesterday. My throat was feeling better, fasting did the trick. I talked to Christopher about my plans to move to Idaho. He knows how much I’ve been wanting to move back and even though it would mean that he wouldn’t get to see Angel very much, he was supportive of the idea. It was a pleasant surprise and I was grateful.
I was almost ready to leave to go farm-sitting when Angel got up and wanted to go with me. She quickly ate and got ready. We left, picking up Tracey on the way to my farm-sitting opportunity. We took care of the animals, then drove to Costco in College Station. I wanted to get mangos but I didn’t like the look of the Costco mangos. I did get my favorite coconut water and a few other things. Next, we went to H-E-B. The mangos looked great there, I like the little yellow altaulfo mangos. In my opinion they are way better than the big green and red mangos. The little mangos were on sale for 50 cents each and I bought 12 of them. Angel has been on a mango kick lately and I want to be well stocked up. I also bought fresh squeezed OJ, apples and sugar rush melons. By then, I was shopped out. I can only do so much shopping before I’m over it.
We hearted to Tracey’s and when we arrived, I took a nap. When I woke up, we all went swimming in the pond. The water felt great. I floated on my back, fully relaxing my body. I did deep breathing exercises and stretched. Angel sat Tracey down in the water near the shore and piled pond grass on his head. I named him the official pond king with his crown of pond grass. We had a lot of fun swimming and playing in the water for an hour or so.
Angel and I drove home. I greeted Christopher and unloaded groceries. Angel played with the baby goat while I put fresh water in the duck pools and watered the plants. Then I made myself a cantaloupe/fresh squeezed OJ smoothie and drove to play practice. Angel came with me and ran around playing while we practiced our lines. We are off book Sunday and some of us, such as myself are still learning our lines.
When practice was over, I picked up Tracey and we took care of the animals at my farm-sitting opportunity. The bond Tracey has with animals is amazing. I thought I was good at bonding with animals but he far outshines me. Angel played on her phone while we fed and watered everyone. Thankfully no more goats have died and one of the sick ones is looking much better.
On the way home, I dropped off Tracey. At home, Christopher was still awake and was just going bed. I took a cold shower and went in the banana hut with Angel. We talked to Tracey on the phone for a few minutes. Then I put on a unicorn meditation and we fell asleep at around 10:45 PM.
Thank you for reading my blog and being a part of my life. I appreciate you.
Love, Victoria
