Morning prayer :

Good morning God,

  • Thank you for this day.
  • Thank you for family.
  • Thank you for flowers.
  • Thank you for light
  • Thank you for love.

I love you!

Dear diary,

Woke up from 1 AM to 5 AM. My stomach was hurting again and my head was cloudy from eating junk food. I didn’t write my blog because I was so foggy headed I couldn’t think straight. I slept more from 5 AM to 7:30 AM. I woke up again, got dressed and took Little Bit on a walk.

When I got back, Angel was awake. I fed her some breakfast and made myself tea and a smoothie. Then we sat on the back patio and I read Angel a few chapters from On the Banks of Plum Creek. After reading, Angel used my phone to call a few people and we went to the store with my mom. My friend Brett picked me up from the store and we went to my mom’s to talk. I was feeling really tired and anti-social, plus I have to be really cautious around Brett so that he doesn’t think that I want to be more than friends. After being at moms for a while, Brett wanted to go get something to eat. We went to downtown Caldwell and I had a soup and salad.

When we got back to my moms, Brett left and I laid down to take a nap. I slept hard for a couple of hours. I woke up and took my truck in to get the oil changed. I used to change my own oil but my truck has a skid plate under it and I didn’t want to deal with taking it off. Good thing too, because I could hear the bolts being taken out of the skid plate and it sounded like there was a lot of them.

Back at my moms again, I was starting to feel better. My mind was less cloudy and my body wasn’t hurting as much. My mom, Angel and I spent the rest of the day in the sewing room making crafts for me to sell at the next farmers market. It was a lot of fun and I’m grateful to have things to sell.

We finished and cleaned up at bedtime. Angel went to bed and my mom and I sat in the front yard enjoying the last bit of light before it got dark. Savana came back from spending time with her dad and a friend. She joined us in The front yard and we talked some before I went inside and went to bed. I put on a sleep meditation and went to sleep right away at 10:30 PM.

Morning prayer:

Good morning God,

  • Thank you for this day.
  • Thank you for creativity.
  • Thank you for rest.
  • Thank you for self sabotage.
  • Thank you for love.

I love you!

I awoke at 4 AM in a panic, my stomach was cramped up and hurting again. I spent time doing some deep breathing, prayer and meditation. I drifted back to sleep again from 6 AM to 7:30 AM. When I woke up again, I got up and stripped all the bedding and put it in the washing machine. Then I cleaned the kitchen and unloaded the dishwasher. Angel and Savana woke up and we all got ready to go to Council. I was ready to get back to my small town life again.

At 10 AM, we hugged my mom goodbye and hearted (headed) up the mountain. We decided to go the extra long way through Hells Canyon since Savana hadn’t been there before. The drive was nice. We stopped at Gateway and I got a milkshake and I nursed my upset stomach with it which caused my stomach to continue hurting. Savana wasn’t that impressed with Hells Canyon until we went up the Kleinschmidt grade and she saw how deep the canyon really was. It’s the deepest canyon in the United States reaching a depth of 7,993 feet.

When we made it to Council, we got settled into my apartment. Then I walked to the thrift store and did a drop-in pet sitting opportunity. I fed the dogs and cat and took the dogs on a walk. I talked to Aaron on the phone while walking. Then I went to my friends house to check on things. I moved the sprinkler, harvested cherries and grazed on ripe raspberries. Yummy!! I went home to the apartment and got a few things before going to New Meadows to do an overnight pet sitting opportunity.

Angel stayed at the apartment with Savana and I told them I would be back in the morning. On my way out of town, I stopped at my friend Chad’s place and he gave me his old phone for Angel to use. When I arrived in New Meadows. I let the dog named Lucky out. Then I set up Angels phone. I cleaned the kitchen and did some laundry and went to bed. I wrote my blog notes and read a few chapters of a book called The Vaster Wilds. Then I went to sleep at around 10:30 PM.

Morning prayer:

Good morning God,

  • Thank you for this day.
  • Thank you for family.
  • Thank you for pet sitting opportunities.
  • Thank you for love.

I love you!

Dear Diary,

I awoke at 4 AM. I wrote my blog and posted it. Then I slept more and awoke again at 7:45 AM. I jumped out of bed and let the dogs out. I gave Lucky fresh food and water and drove to Council. I drove straight to my drop-in pet sitting opportunity and fed the dogs and cat. I took the dogs on a long walk while I talked to Aaron on the phone about our plans for the day. We were going on an adventure up in the mountains with Savana and Angel later that day and I was excited. I got off the phone and finished walking the dogs. Then I drove to my friends house that shares her yard with me. I checked the plants in the yard and started the sprinkler going.

I drove home and Savana and Angel were still in bed. Angel got up and I made her breakfast. Angel went to jiujitsu and I went back to my friends house. I moved the sprinkler and cleaned her house. Angel called me from Savana’s phone and said that jujitsu wasn’t happening today. I checked my messages and saw that jujitsu had been canceled and told Angel I’d be home later.

I finished cleaning my friend house, then I drove to the Assembly of God church and cleaned it. I was glad to get my cleaning opportunities done for the weekend. I canceled most of my other cleaning opportunities while Savana is here visiting, except she extended her stay and I will be cleaning a couple of days next week while she is still here.

When I finished cleaning the church, I went home and walked to the thrift store. I saw my neighbor there and she had bought a twin bed. I asked her how she was going to get it unloaded and she said she didn’t know. I told her that Aaron was coming over and we would help her. I walked home and Aaron had just arrived. He was outside by his truck and I told him I had volunteered him to help bring a bed inside for my neighbor. My neighbor pulled up and we brought the bed inside for her. Then I went upstairs to my apartment and the girls and I got ready to go up in the mountains with Aaron.

Aaron took us up to Indian Mountain and it was amazingly beautiful up there. We stopped a few times on our way up the mountain, to let the dogs run and look around. When we got to the top, Aaron started looking for a neat area he found the other day, where a stream ran down through some tree roots under an alcove. For a while he thought we might have missed it but then we found it.

It was a really amazing. Savana and I climbed up underneath the water running down through the tree roots. The water was ice cold and felt really refreshing. There was a bunch of beautiful quarts in the alcove and we collected some of the rocks.

We slowly hearted (headed) back down the mountain and when we got to Council, Aaron dropped us off at our apartment. Savana said she liked Aaron and approved of me hanging out with him 😂. The girls were hungry so we walked to the pizza place. I ordered a salad and it would have all be good, since my stomach was finally feeling better except I ate a bunch of bread sticks. Welcome back stomach ache.

I took Angel with me to New Meadows when I went to take care of Lucky overnight. The dogs ran around playing while I helped Angel load games onto her phone. Then we went to bed early. I read a couple of chapters from On the Banks of Plum Creek and we went to sleep at around 9 PM.
Thank you for reading my blog and being a part of my life. I appreciate you.
Love, Victoria
